Well it looks like it's about time to put up or shut up. Let's see if y'all can play as well as you can sling the b.s. I wish ALL the kids playing tonight a safe game, a safe trip to our Alcoa guests and most of all a victory for the hardest working team in the state of Tennessee, the ELIZABETHTON CYCLONES! GO BETSY GO!

Your voodoo lady must still be feeling the effects of the hurricane that hit years ago. Tell her to concentrate on the Saints and leave high school football alone. GO BIG A!!!!! Oh I didn't even call her about the game, she brought it up, in detail. Very pleased with what I heard! Go Betsy Go!

When y'all get on the bus tomorrow make sure it has a good heater because I talked to my voodoo lady (I worked in N.O.La. for a while) and she says it's gonna be a long ride home. No disrespect to an outstanding football program but I think Alcoa has overlooked EHS. Eventually every streak comes to an end so it might as well end tomorrow night. I am looking forward to a very exciting game! Safe journey to everyone!

Are you just stupid or what? We lost to CAK by a high snap. CAK did not have one of their worst games. I talked to several of their fans and they were stunned at how good the cyclones were and felt lucky to leave with a win. Yep we lost. Yep we lost to Asheville, same thing. Asheville's coach said he couldn't believe the speed E'ton has. There was a questionable call in that game but bottom line, we lost. However, WE ARE PLAYING FRIDAY NIGHT. So keep going over the season in your mind and keep thinking that we are lucky to be playing Alcoa but get one thing straight, WE DON'T WHINE! As Brother John Madden once said..."Self-promotion is for losers." Oh and by the by it is spelled BETSY, short for Elizabeth. Don't worry you'll hear it repeated often friday night.

Generally he can kick a golf ball through the eye of a needle but he got a bad snap. We aren't whining or complaining. We lost, but guess what? We're still playing! Yea, but CAK beat you Guys on your own field. Besty would be the same place(home) if Alcoa had been placed in Region 1. Woulda Coulda Shoulda...Doesn't matter now because Betsy (get the spelling right) IS playing Friday night and we are home...OUR HOME FIELD. Keep talking and patting yourself on the back with your little emoticons on the postings because I think it just may be a cold long ride home for you on Friday night. Man, that will be so embarrasing if your big bad tornadoes get beat by the little o' cyclones. In all seriousness, I hope it is a good and injury free game. What matters is what happens on the field Friday night and I think it will come down to who wants it the most. Sometimes being number one isn't always a good thing. We prefer flying under the radar.
