Is this a letter that was sent to the TSSAA or just meant to be discovered here? While I agree with Coach Blair about there being good points, I do find it lacking in much of what is needed, specifically the math. The hyperbolic comments about it generating more revenue than the the foozeball and baseball championships combined essentially means nothing without projected verified numbers to back it. If this is something that you plan to send to them, I would encourage you to collaborate with several other interested coaches from the state to help gel the proposal. I'm sure there are several coaches who have specific details on the related costs of what you proposed and how they can be implemented. I very much enjoy your enthusiasm for the sport, I just worry that the letter reads as a passionate fan who severely lacks understanding of the intricacies behind the TSSAA and their thought process. Also, as general pet peeve of mine, the sentence structure, layout and grammar are a bit of a distraction from the message and I would recommend a few changes (even so far as to offer my very limited services if you'd like). I hope you don't take offense to this as it was meant to be a helpful criticism.

Kind of a no brainer. Wrestler B has his return arm trapped, his feet clear his head and he lands on his shoulder/neck/head. Illegal...especially for middle school.

Not a soul in this thread has said anything demeaning towards your little brother. You may want to reevaluate your contributions to this forum especially when bringing your younger brother into the mix. I'm sure he doesn't appreciate you amping him up in here all the time. So you have been refereeing for a few months now and you immediately go to bat for your "friends" even without actually being there to witness the possible bad calls? Sounds like blind obedience to me. This is a forum for open dialogue. As many of these "first time posters" have put it, "this is the only place they new to come to voice their opinion," as wrong as they may be. To try to discredit them for only having a couple of posts or just joining Sunday shows the arrogance and ignorance of the ones who felt the need to point that out. Apparently your opinion can only matter here if you have been on here for several years and or have built enough post counts to brag about. It is perfectly fine for anyone on here to criticize an official for a possible bad call (from the looks of it this one may have been pretty bad, although it doesn't appear to be from what I have gathered). It is also perfectly acceptable for others to counter the claim and "go to bat" for someone like Mr. Gannon. However, the posturing of those who have been here for a few years is hilariously embarrassing to read. I am assuming that several of you are grown adults and I find that to be like I stated, embarrassing.

And I'm sure that's about the only "techno" song you've ever listened to. If you are willing to admit that that song gets you pumped up maybe you should give a listen to more than just it.
