Game Day! Gonna be a bit messy out on the field tonight but this is football weather.

WMS won big. I think the final was 40-14.

I'm not one that likes to underestimate any team, but this one is just hard not to. My hope is that the Cats come out firing and get out clean by half giving the youngers some play time.

Cats wont be making the trip to Union City for the 7 on 7 this week but looks possible to travel down to Brooks at the end of next week for a 7 on 7 and lineman challenge.

On the line you have a couple that are 6'1, 6'2 and 250+ with several others a bit smaller in height but 200+. Skill guys have decent speed and size. But like most freshmen, they all have to get stronger and faster but like W89 said this bunch has been working hard since winter on their own.

I think Rice said the scrimmage would be here on the 19th.

As an old lineman I want to give credit to UC's O line. That is where any play starts and your boys do it right. I wish my 8th grader would have been there to see how low and fast they all came off the ball. Great job!

Congrats to the Cats for finishing the regular season 8-2. Last night was sloppy and I hope we got it out of the way for the playoffs. Gotta give credit to a young Raider team for no quit.

I agree that L Ray has been a stud running the ball this year. His yards after contact is what I love watching.

Havent heard much about Fville, other than they have good speed but if the Cats can keep the turnovers in check and cut down on the flags they should be in any game they play.
