  1. I think that our team should start lifting weights. I'm not making easy sarcasm, but in that way you should be able to handle a really physical team. You brag even when you lose. And this is a public board.
  2. About 50-60% on both sides were full, maybe on the UC side a little more. I saw it from the field, I was on the Tornadoes' space during the game.
  3. Wow, you can't find anything else to blame on us, so you start to write about the fact that our game is boring (and, actually, it's not). What will be the next step? You will say that our players are ugly? That our cheerleaders were fat? I don't know. Invent something. You're funny. And yes, if you would have hold on the football you would have won. If you would have blocked our offense, you would have won. If you would have scored more points than us, you would have won. But, guess what? You didn't. "Weight room, *****! Let's go home!"
  4. You and your purple and gold friends are some of the poorest sports I have ever seen after a game....where you did not dominate....you won by 2 points with an exchange soccer student!! Look at the stats...we had 20-30 less plays than you did and still almost matched your yardage and points. I will never respect the Union team or school after the way you bunch of punks have gotten on here...downed our team, our town, and our community. You say that we had 3 players and that was it...what a joke!!! If you are going to go that route, then your team only had 1...#27. Take him off your team and we beat you handily. You can talk about other teams beating us until you are blue in the face. Yesterday was Union's day...everything in the game went your way. I agree with the poster earlier that mentioned if we played you 5 times, we would win 4 out of 5 times. Enjoy that Gold ball...probably will be the last one you get since you should be in 2A anyway. We are poorest sports? Have you read what did a lot of Pirates fans write before and even after the game? Telling that we didn't have a chance, that the trophy would have been yours, that our team was a bunch of slow losers? And, after that we won the game (dominating, yes, you had big plays, but we got the ball twice as SPitt) some people told us that it was just luck? We won by two points with an exchange soccer student, and so? He plays in the football team, he has the same value as Terrell Robinson, no matter where he is from. We have just #27? And what do you say about our offensive line (#77, #55, #53, #72, #74/20) that literally dominated your team for the whole game? What about #28, that made your superfast team eat the dust? What about #12, that made the right decisions during the whole game except for one wrong pass? We should be in 2A? In our team there are less players than in your. We are less than 40. And 2 are exchange students. Prove that you would win if 4 over 5 games. We proved you would lose 1 over 1. That's all that matter. And yes, yesterday was Union City day because Union City made it become its day. "Weight room, *****! Let's go home!"
  5. I like how are the Pirates fans almost disappeared, probably overconfidence's indigestion. You've probably never played a team as physical as ours. Obviously you didn't expect so much hammering, by both offense and defense. Twice your QB went in panic and threw the ball randomly not to get hit by our players (and no, I didn't invent the sizes). Why are our players worst athletes? There isn't only the speed, the strength makes the athlete too. And, well, under that dimension we dominated. I think your nose tackle had the worst game of his life, with a center twice as big as him. You were really better in passing, and your QB is wonderful, but we got twice the possession as the Pirates. You did big plays, we kept pounding. The pass that is disputed if it was a knees-down was it. I saw, I was about three yards from it. However, we won, it doesn't matter. Congratulations for the style of your sign with the middle finger and for one of your players that didn't "give the hand" after the game. I could say the number, but I won't.
  6. He's big, but he has really fast reactions, he's usually the first that moves his feet on the line. And I can assure you, if your nose-guard is 165 pounds he won't be able to resist. He'll get driven around all game long (well, with 200 pounds of difference I don't see many chances). For the rest, the game is open. The best will win. And, sorry, "bark about yall can play with us", what should we say? You've already won, our players are made of butter and will get smashed during the whole game? I think that is normal to try to support our players, don't you support Tennessee before that it plays Florida? (I'm a Tennessee fan)
  7. On the lines of Union City there are quite big players. Rance Barnes is 6'3'' and 235 pounds; Trey Maddox is probably the shortest Varsity lineman in the state (5'4''), but is extremely powerful and really, really well built. And he can use his shortness for his advantage. He's about 180 pounds, that for his height are a lot. And he's not fat. Antuwan Powell is 6'2'' and 285 pounds, Zack Cavness is 6'2'' and 220 pounds. And others are the already spoken Fair and Arnold.
  8. no but we got the next best thing a 5 10 360 center UCGT you have been caught in a lie...you have no more credibilty on this thread...get outta my face. 77 Will Arnold OL/DL 5’10 295 Sr. Ha Ha Ha!! here's the truth http://www.nwtntoday.com/photos/File2647.pdf That magazine is wrong. For real. To make a couple of example, it lists Emery Whaley as 149 lb, while he is barely 120, Walter Williams as 256 while he's about 300 (I've seen him on the scale). When Arnold was weighted, at the start of the season, the spring scale didn't have enough capacity, and is a 350 pounds spring scale. Moreover, Arnold is quick, especially for his weight, and was All-State next season. He just runs over his opponent on the line. Moving over, someone told that Fair looked as a dwarf, and that's actually true. But, while the two 6'4'' boys are something like 215 and 185 lb, Fair is 245. He's wide. With this, I'm not saying that Union City is going to win, neither South Pittsburg. One of them is going to, but I don't know who. I've never seen South Pittsburg play, but I know that they are really good. Union City knows to be the underdog.
