I hope that last report about 100% is true. If not you could really hurt the reputation of Coach Rankin and also anyone involved in the hiring process at Cleveland High School.

This sounds like a tough situation. How long was the last coach there? Who were the other people who were interviewed when the last coach was hired? Why so much drama over this job?

Amen to that last post. It should be true about administrators but sadly in this day and time if it is print it must be true

Congrats to Possum whoever you are. I think it is great that people/coaches are out looking for jobs and realize the best way to get a job is to be one of the first informed people to apply. Asking about openings in my opinion is good and so is speculation. I myself get interested in the scuttlebutt and will be asking about jobs all over the state. I appreciate your attitude about being a professional.

I am not talking about people discussing openings or prospective openings. What I am talking about is people who make comments about other coaches who may be applying for jobs and by doing that cause some problems for them in the search for a job. On that note I am neither a coach or have any desire to coach but many of my sons coaches have been hurt by these situations.

I have been a coacht reader since its inception. I have never written and actuallyhad not even been a member until now. I am disgusted with the number of "coaches" who get on here and talk about other coaches and their jobs. This board should be for information and people to brag on their teams, not for coaches trying to use this board to help themselves get jobs by making other coaches look bad.
