If I recall the Bees won the district tournament last year and was beat by LA with a last second half court shot in the Regions

Is it going to come down to LA and Upperman again? Could be. However who know when tournament time gets here what will happen.

I am just wondering what others think about this district's teams and players? Lets keep it positive!

What was final score and who else made all tourney?

I believe I agreed that the calls were bad both ways and have been all season and even said that it could have changed the outcome of the game either way had calls been made. SO I am not sure why you are wanting to become argumentative. The bottom line is UHS was Dsitrict Tourney Champs...Slip up or not. THe other bottom line is that two teams are moving on and UHS is not one of them. I believe I was trying to give you gys some credit but like most posts on here it cannot stay positive it mucy turn negative. Good luck to CC and LA.

Don't know that I can completely agree with the bet 4 teams playing from our region. I can agree with CC but again UHS split with LA during the season, won the season tourney and came within striking distance of putting them out. When I seen them play CC in the consolation game the other night I may have agreed with you but there seems to be some inconsistancies in their game right now. Just my opinion.

Just got home from the game and it was a great game! I am a UHS fan so I have to be a little bit of a sore loser. Not to take anything away from Livingston,they have a great team, with great kids, but I believe the refereeing not only in this game but the season stunk and is getting worse. That's not to say that refs beat us. That kid made a great shot at the buzzer and I am sure he is as happy as the Bees are sad that it went in. Granted with better refereeing the game could have went a differnet way either way but in my opinion that strip that Ramsey made at the end of regulation was a reach and ahould have been called a foul. Again sore loser here. Again I like all the LA players, I think they love the game, and are good sports. But I hate like heck to lose to them. What are your thoughts?

Wasn't trying to take anthing away from Cannon. I said they were good shooters and that beat us. If we had shot as well....especially from the free throw line the outcome would have been different.

CC had no technicals and their coach was out of the box yelling the whole first half and several players questioned calls. But bottom line is if Upperman hits free throws it is a different outcome.

Good game. Missed free throws cost Upperman but the referees definately played a vital role in this game. Cannon has some shooters.

For the record this Upperman team only had one senior, Simmons, and he provided great leadership and kept us in many games.

Congrats to Brad, and great team defense. Upperman had very few field goals as the reffs gave them their little offense from the line!! He specifically states that the "refs gave" them their little offense. But anyway...Livingston won because they hit their shots and played intense defense. I'm not taking one thing away from them. They have some great players.

Livingston has a great team with good kids. Why take punches at Upperman's players. Upperman played there hearts out all year and earned there way to this game. They were outmatched last night by the better team last night. Why not give them there due and not put all the blame on the refs! I mean they did hold Livingston to 50 points which I think is a feat in and of itself.

Correct me if I am wrong but Upperman was not the 3rd place team nor was Livingston the 2nd place team or even Cannon 1st. They all tied for 1st. The coin flip only determined the places for the brackets so to say there was three players selected from the 3rd place team is incorrrect.

Yeah I knew that LA had only one starter returning but had some guys on the floor that had some playing time last year. We really didn't but again that sounds like I'm making excuses and I'm not. Your guys hit their shots and we didn't. Congrats!

Thanks for the kind words Bigdaddy and yeah I think the last game of the season will be another barnstormer and hopefully we will get to see each other again a couple of times at least after that.

I was hoping for a little better sportsmanship from Wildcat fans on here. Yeah the final score was by 20 but the Bess fought hard and played well. No excuses here, LA shot the ball well and the Bees couldn't get shots to fall. Some one called them the little Bees. I would call them the young bees as there were no returning starters from last year. I also thought it was pretty amusing that Coach M was able to argue one call for a minute and half and the refs let him go on and on and Coach McWilliams got a quick T called right after that. LA has a great team but I think the Bees do as well. Come on fans give a little credit to good basketball.

LA is a tough place to play. I believe we will be seeing two really good coaches tonight.

I predict that it will be fast and furious! The crowd will be loud! And one of the teams will win! But I will be rooting for the Bees!

I just watched the Upperman/Dekalb game. Great game! What does everyone think about Upperman this year?
