  1. Look buddy everyone has their own opinion! Papatiger is prolly one of the best waverly fans we have, we as in the waverly people are lucky to have ricky! Dude u need to step off and quit critizing ppl. O and here the true issue. Creek Wood has 900 students or something like that, wavo has 615, like the rest of the district, put creek wood in a bigger school district6 and lets see what happens! (i.e. Creek Wood football agaist page in first round, Creek wood vs. dickson in football!) Everyone have a great day and good night tonight.
  2. I need info? who is good? who is not? any info is good
  3. tomorrow waverly plays the cheatham co. cubs who which Waverly Central guard justin vogel hits 10 3's and scores 43 points. Any take on district MVP? my canidates? Waverly Central Justin Vogel Montgomery Central Trevon Moore One of Creek Woods twin towers
  4. yeah ur right my bad i usually don't make that mistake lol!!! you all know wat i was saying tho
  5. I am not trying to be rude, but WHEN WILL THE PPL IN THIS DISTRICT UNDERSTAND THAT GAMES ARE ALL ABOUT HOW PLAYERS MATCH UP WITH EACH OTHER. I am not saying that basketball is like football, but here is an example. We the waverly tigers lost to Stewart Co. 43-14. Stewart co. beat cheatham Co. in overtime (in a game that cheatham co. actually won but their was a blown call at the end that took cc touchdown!). We beat cheatham co. 8-0. It is all about the matchup! any team can win any game! Good luck to all teams in district and GOD BLESS
  6. the waverly tigers defeated the montgomery central indians last night in overtime 71-67. the indians were leading by @ least 16 last night in the 3rd. the tigers came back and took a 6 point lead in the late 4th, montgomery tied it with 4.6 seconds left, and then justin vogel took over!!! he had 8 points in overtime, 33 overall. Kudos to #23 from central last night he is by far the best player in the district, that is close to vogel, I can't wait to watch him again !!! good luck to everyone!!!!
  7. say that to the kids that are gonna be thrilled when they recieve the award, once again someone who isn't looking for the best interst for the kid....
  8. The last playoff spot came between us and lewis co. and lewis got it! Good luck to coach sharp..
  9. yeah ur right its not very christian like my apologies to the cheatham coaches and fans! I'M SORRY
  10. despite being beat 4 times by coach sharps boys 0-128 in 4 meetings, I respect coach sharp very much no matter what kind of talent lchs has his teams are successful, i believe they had a bad year this year and still made the games they needed to make the playoff... it was lewis co. that kept us out fo the playoff this year... Prayers from wavo definitely.....Let our heavenly father be with this man of great faith... Good luck keep us updated plz. On a side note.... coach sharp is the only other coach i wud ever play for besides coach graves.... but no offense, i would have not played for another coach other than trey graves if someone put a gun to my head and told me to play somewhere else..... Good luck coach sharp
  11. ya are right football is my game, My apologie to all cheatham fans and players i offended... i'm sorry
  12. howdoitknow their is a different between players and coaches, I said cheatham wasn't gonna succeed until they got a good coaching staff, and if i did say it in a way that my statement was taken as calling cheatham horrible, i Apologize and i promise i meant the coaching staff ..... BWTP
  13. ur right bro i don't have a right to tell someone to find christ if he already knows him but the way that guy was talking i wasn't sure so i was just suggesting it.... Indeed ya did stomp our tail ends but when its 103 players vs. 63 players its kinda unmatched.... we played with ya the entire first quarter but ya had to much depth, I know i actually got tired in that game. I have a pic on my face book and myspace where chris hartman was blocking me in the back.. lol either way ya were good and thats y ya destroyed us. but u know ur a former player, how would u feel if someone came on here and said that stuff about ur play on the field..... I love football with all my heart, only god comes b4 football with me.. and when someone comes on and says that about me when i played my heart out..... how do u think i feel?
  14. Look bro u keep talking that stuff bro....... u will see in a about 8 month what i'm talking about.... Have a great night bro... umm u may want to find christ
  15. birdee how realiable is ur post, like where did u get the info from i'm really curious.... are u sure about theses selections?
  16. In The most horribly officiated game i have ever seen the Waverly Central Tigers defeated the Harpeth Indian 57-52. The Tigers led 32-16 @ halftime and with great heart and effort from the indians, they rallied to take a 7 point lead late in the 4th. Vogel fouled out with about 3 minutes to go and the tigers trailing by about 7 and freshmen guards Austin Mullinax and McKenzie Ethridge carried Wavo to a 5 point victory with the future District MVP sitting on the bench. People I have seen a lot of basketball games in my 4 years at waverly, but i have never ever seen a worst set of officials in my life. back to mullinax and ethridge, I have never seen such hustle and effort from freshmen in a freshmen game in my years of watching high school basketball.... Kudos to the energy freaks: Keep up the hard Work. GOD BLESS EVERYONE
  17. howdoitknow i am not trying to sound like a jerk and definitely not trying to be a jerk but keep telling urself that...... Once Cheatham gets a good coaching staff basketball and football is when they will become something! They're Football program is horrible, They lost to wavo when Jackson, Glover, and Shoemake (Top 3 leading tackler on the tiger defensive squad) all 3 didn'T play a second of the 1st quarter... Sorry sir but its time to wake up
  18. here are my pre season rankings 1. Waverly Central 2. Camden Central 3. Creek Wood 4. Harpeth 5. Stewart Co. 6. Montgomery Central 7. Cheatham Co. I pick Waverly Central as the top team in the district cuz they are returning the majority of the defense, Jackson @ Linebacker, Shoemake @ Defensive Tackle, and Fuller @ Free Safety are really all they're losing on defense. and as my username states DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS... they do lose a few other players on defense, but the other two (Bercik, Waggoner) weren't the biggest impact.. Look I am gonna warn the ppl of the district 11AA Waverly has a new weapon they sorta featured this year but he hasn't got to shine yet, but i guarantee u that the 5'8 sophmore will show u what football is all about! He has heart, desire, determination, and everything a real player needs..... wavo has a few good players that if they would've had the experience this year that they will have next year they would have helped wavo go to a great season..... for instant Quentin Cunningham (freshmen) is gonna tear everybody up, He will be no doubt all district SO. JR. SR. year and all state JR. SR. year..... Waverly if good lord is willing will return Jake Hale, Will McLeod, Jake Kendall, Quentin Cunningham, Andrew Campbell, Justin Glover (He may be slow but he will hit u) Brenden Brewer, among others next year.... Wavo is gonna be a scary team next year. Trey graves is gonna unleashed a BUTT WHOOPING on the district 11AA in 2010.....
  19. Quarterback: Micheal Gaskin Senior Camden Central Running back: Kimo Odom Junior Creek Wood Running Back: Maurice Whitfield Senior Camden Central Wide Reciever: Perry Horkins Senior Harpeth Wide Reciever: Cain Smith Senior Creek Wood Offensive Line: Brady White Senior Cheatham Co. Offensive Line: Chris Hartman Senior Creek Wood Offensive Line: Quentin Cunningham Freshmen Waverly Central Defensive Line: Zach Douglas Senior Harpeth Defensive Line: Chris Hartman Senior Creek Wood Defensive Line: Alex Shoemake Senior Waverly Central Linebacker: Zach Mulitauaopele Senior Montgomery Central Linebacker: Jeff Jackson Senior Waverly Central Linebacker: Kyle Blackburn Sophmore Camden Central linebacker: Justin Glover Junior Waverly Central Defensive Back: Tyler Adkisson Senior Creek Wood Defensive Back: Trae White Sophmore Camden Central Defensive Back: Tyler Fuller Senior Waverly Central That is my opinion.. I know that their are more wavo players than any other team, but everybody that comes on here and puts their all district teams on will favor their hometown team. Either way i am interest in seeing the other picks so ya start picking!!! GOD BLESS EVERYBODY BWTP
  20. much agreed catfishhunterjr, i hope that the most of us are christians, if not give me a message saying so and we will have a talk..... but anyways left field i have a huge feeling i know who u are! that doesn't matter tho... umm If ur a tiger fan u shud believe vogel could AT LEAST play average D1. But as my new friend from surprisingly stewart co. said its to early to be talking mvp. To follow up on what catfish said about the arguing and stuff umm their is no need for that crap, their is a different in pride and being a bull crap starter. I will not say that during a game i may not get out of control in the bleachers or definitely on the sidelines of my beautiful game of football, but u have to also have a sense of pride of class.... I hope that sounds the way i want it to! I love my school and my tigers but u always have got to have composure! well GOD BLESS ALL OF U AND GOOD NIGHT!!!!! BWTP
  21. The final score to the Waverly Central - Creek Wood game was 51-39, The game was a double digit lead for the Red Hawks going into the fourth quarter, i believe it was 19, but the game was only a 6 point game with 3 minutes or less to go... It wasn't a 6 point game cuz CW called off the dogs because they did not ever yank their starters... They had triple towers and their was at least two of them the entire time.... wavo went on like a quick 10- 2 or 4 run to start the fourth... Coach (which is a fine and smart coach) called a full timeout after a creek wood 30 second timeout..... Creek Wood pulled out of it and a little bit of bad officiating, (which was good, but questionable the entire game) the red eagles pulled back away...The tigers has the best player in the district in their backcourt in JUSTIN VOGEL, he is averaging 21 points a game in the first 7 games. DISTRICT MVP
