I didn't see the game, but I do know that refs listen to a lot. Some take it with a grain of salt and some like to show their authority. I think a lot of the time refs will listen to a coach depending on his or her tone of voice. If they feel that what is being said is being said sarcastically, then a lot of times they won't tolerate it. I know how sarcastic coaches can be when questioning calls (including Melton), but refs are different in the ways they react to it. I saw an elementary game a couple of weeks ago where a guy sitting in front of me harassed the ref the whole game and the ref never said anything to him. Had I been the ref, I would have given him one warning then had him removed. Refs, like all people, are just different. I agree. I have always thought Wheaton was fair and under control. However, his actions at TTU should not be tolerated. It was the first time Melton questioned anything. It was early in the game. LA was up 13-1 at the time and after the next 5 or 6 angry calls NOT in favor of LA were made, LA's players tensed up some and the game changed. Maybe it would have anyway, but we will never know that. These actions didn't determine the winner/loser of the game in this case, but that doesn't change what happened. LA has already moved on, but it'd be a shame for this to happen to anyone else.

Bledsoe is not very good. LA wins this one in a blowout.

I thought the Wright fellow from York desreved some COY consideration. What other LA players got recognized?

Hands down Better than Dunn ? Not sure about that. He's got better numbers because he's played a lot more minutes than all star Dunn did as freshman. I'm not positive but I don't think Dunn started a game his freshman year.

OldKodger, you must have alzheimers because you wouldn't have called me out, because I have done nothing but give Livingston their due credit. Go back to your hole and try to figure out who the people are in Overton Co who are dumb enough to bash your coach with his impecable record. Now, back to basketball. We have underachieved this year in terms of district play IMO. We thought we'd be better, but we have won more games this year since like 7-8 years. We'll have a winning season (finally) since that same time period also. So we're proud of how this year has gone, but like everyone else, we always want more. John Kendrick had an impecable record, therefore I must pick LA by 9.

Any thoughts on the All-District team ? TJ Smith-MVP and Davenport are easy choices. Stephens-York, Willouby-DC ?

Don't know about a nice win against Clarkrange. Any win is good but Clarkrange is not very good. Ensworth game was a good game. Continung solid play from #32 for LA. I'm predicting La wins out in regular season.

Didn't make it down today a little under the weather, but it sounded pretty sloppy. no flow to what LA is doing right now. But the old saying is a win is a win.

Missed 10 lay ups ? That's not good. I'll bet you are right NE. If they hadn't turned it over as much and made all those lay ups, they would have won by a larger margin. Dekalb had several turnovers too.

Well I hope you find your way back from being lost....because you are not comprehending what has been written in this thread..It has been noted Cannon County has a good team and coach...Good teams make runs to close gaps in the score. Right? LA has a good team and coach. Calling a time out stopped the run/momentum Cannon County was making. Ok..still with me? By calling time out the LA's coach offered cookies, cake and ice cream if they could stop Cannon County, turn up the defensive pressure, get the ball in transiton to score some easy buckets or draw a foul to go to the line for 1 and 1 oppurtunities. In which they did, hence taking a 2 point lead to a 9 point win. Now if that is not adjusting to what Cannon County was doing to close the gap in score....I dont know what is and maybe you should try another sport to take up thats easier to understand. Amazing what cookies, cake and ice cream will for a team!! BD. I'm definately not LOST anymore. That's as detailed adjustment definition as I have ever read. Thank you. Did you text all that to Coach Melton ? Better keep that cake and ice cream motivation a secret though other teams may try it.

I must say again, Im as lost on this adjustment thing as several others. Why did LA let a double digit lead shrink to 2 before making adjustments? That is playing with fire.

I'm lost on this adjustments thing by Livingston. I thought Livingston had a double figure lead in the 4th quarter.
