They should dominate the district again this year. But they have three big pair of shoes to fill in the seniors who left at seasons end. Two of the best hitters on the team and a great first baseman. But they have some girls that should fill in nicely and carry on just fine. I can't see them not repeating as champs again, with Cookeville not making a lot at noise to pressure them.

Anyone that still uses that dang 80's term 'YERT' needs to be banned from here! LOL

Its all politics, they can run baseball coach off because he did it his way and WON games. She is all about playing her pets and not the ones that should be on the floor and it shows. yes it is very sad.

Until Warren Co makes some changes in the head coach, the team is going nowhere! But when AD family and coach family big friends nothing going to change!

They don't post them till play offs start in May.

Like I posted here before, it's NOT the host team's problem to give out trouphies! TSSAA gives out the pieces of paper as you call it, so get off Warren Co. back about how the tourney was run.

I've not heard a thing about any verbal abuse. Not saying it didn't happen, just I've not heard anything, and I didn't run the tournament nor am I getting hyper as you call it. I have only stated facts which you seem to ignore and only want to complain about getting your hand slapped for messing with the banners on the fence. Warren County fans don't come to Cookeville and mess with their stuff, so we expect the same, that's it. As I said before, if the verbal stuff happened, I am truly sorry, you should have went over and kicked their rear ends, I would have. Now, everybody move on, the season is OVER!

I've not said anyone's comments are not true, just shedding light on things you didn't understand clearly. People sometimes are too smart for their own good, since one person obviously keeps stating to everyone they don't agree with about their huge brain capacity over everyone else! Lucky them. You don't how things were run, talk to your coach, they are as much to blame as any other. But book smarts are not the same common sense to you, because you sure don't show any, if anything but trying to make people mad. I don't know anything about players getting talked to by our students, if that happened I'm sorry! But you need to get over whatever problem you have with Warren County, it's done and over with. I guess some people are just too smart for their own good! I'm done about this post, y'all keep crying all you want.

All I'm reading here is people that are pissed for reason or another and can't handle the facts things didn't go there way! My daughter got shafted as well on all district team but I've let it go. So sitting on here crying about this or that is doing nothing more than showing your ignorance in general about things going on behind the scenes you know nothing about. There were no games last Saturday either because most coaches ask off because college graduation at most schools was then and A LOT of players had family members crossing the stage, so now you know why no games. The more you gripe the deeper the hole you dig jor yourself. You'll be speaking Chinese you keep it up! So I'm sorry you are so full of hate and discontent, we will see if White Co can do a better job next year. And as far as the 9 to 0 scores, that was jv playing in those games, not varsity. More you know nothing about! Keep digging! LOL

OK people, the tournament had to be finished by midnight Friday night per TSSAA! With the rain threat for Friday, all coaches agreed to finish Thursday night. So the comments about a poorly run tournament are uncalled for if ya"ll don,t know what your talking about. So if you were not happy about the late night games, you need to get on your teams coach and yell at him, not put down Warren County about late games. And as for all tournament awards, the tournament host is not responsible for the girls trophies, that also falls on each team coach to provide. So saying it was poorly run on that account is a bit much! And if Warren County had so much home cooking, heck we would have run ruled everyone in every game this week! yes, poor officiating in championships indeed happened, but both team got hosed pretty good. Home cooking? No way, Cookeville and Warren are a pretty even match, games against each other show that. so as for a poorly run tournament, go blow your own coaches hair back, they all agreed to thursday night! All of ya'll trying to get me to pull out the nasty card, I'm playing nice but its getting hard not to!

My view on all this uproar is this, where people think Warren is bad and all and a poorly run tournament is just pissed cause they got scolded for messing with sponsor sign and this is the only way they know how to vent. We don't mess with other team's stuff when we go to other schools, so are you privileged? And karma? None of us can help how the umps call, crappy calls both ways from what I seen! Cost us 3 runs for sure! Home cooking, I don't think so. A couple of errors by our girls gave you the championship, not the cooking, so if you think talking negative about Warren County is making people mad, well you just showed who the real uneducated is now don't it? When your daughter has better stats than other girls on your team that made first team all district, you tell me if she should be pissed or not. One the girls stats wasn't even close to my daughters but she got the nod over mine. Good ole boy stuff if I ever seen it! What do you tell your kid to make her feel better, coach won't tell her!

Well, as usual the coaches picked girls for all district by favoritism over ability and stats on some picks. That is just sad, if they can't do a better job than that, they need to go coach kids leagues and quit leaving girls off first team that clearly should have been on it. It's clearly not fair to the girls who put the work in but coaches clearly picked some of them only because they liked them without considering stats! Totally sucks!

Alright all, Warren County beat Cookeville tonight 20 to 3! Yes that's right, 20 to 3! No errors, 3 different girls hit homers, team played an excellent all around game. Wrapped up season title with the win at 9-0, only have a make up game with Rhea Co. next week to go for a perfect district record.

Well guys you know the old saying, " never assume anything "! I could have swore the pitcher for White Co didn't pitch against Warren Co the first time, I even ask a couple of parents and they said no too! So I guess it's time to eat some crow and apologize to everyone! I was wrong and know when to admit it! Carry on with the conversation!

That is not the same pitcher we faced the first time we played this year, so please make sure you know EXACTLY what you are saying before you say it! That pitcher was not healthy when we played them at home, yes the girl from Thursday night was a little better pitcher. But by no means was she overpowering, had good speed but if you call the fastball that she threw to a location good movement, thats your call. She had a good change up working for sure,she should have used it more in the game. She had 2 pitches, thats it, we went after her junk pitches is only reason game stayed close, if the girls would have stayed patient we would have hit a lot better.

I guess ya'll are overlooking class A Meigs Co., nobody in the state will come close to beating them as long as their ace pitcher stays healthy. Seen her pitch in Chattanooga a couple weeks ago in a tourny and she was ON HER GAME! That team could easily beat any AAA team in the state no problem. They won class A last year, will again this year, and next year when she graduates high school and rolls onto the U. of Tennessee campus.

well, we still got to face Rhea Co. twice and Cookeville there. reminder, Cumberland beat Cookeville so i am not overlooking anybody till its over!

Warren Co. beat Cookeville 7 to 6 in 8 innings.

Would be nice to see Warren County in the drivers seat!

It just bothers me when people get on here and say we only had 5 hits, mostly bunts. I mean, come on! I bet Thursday at White County Warren County wins by a more than 5 to 0 score.
