Anybody know if Shawn Witten or Caine Ballard is interested in coaching at DB?

Can anyone tell me why it took an unfortunate injury for #16 to start to get some reps at receiver. I know they are trying not to have people go both ways, but he likely has as many catches as some starters.

Any DB fans know the status of number 13?

I think King got a fair shot. His uncle is on the DB coaching staff.

Everyone knows who it is. He is a tight end and defensive end on the hudl roster. DB fans are not worried about this drama. We'll support the players that want to be Indians. We understand how special it is to play at Dobyns Bennett.

Is he ineligible to play football this year, since he practiced with DB the whole summer?

There wasn't much our d coordinator could do we couldn't stop them from running up the middle or when they got outside.

DB needs a stop here. It doesn't look like McGue is going to be able to run like he was.

Db's defensive line just does not seem athletic enough. Also, DB needs to stop running outside and go inside. Science hill's defense is to fast for them to get outside.

They have the presentation up. From what I see it looks like they are rushing into it. I agree with you 91 I like the players coming out under the scoreboard. I like the rest of the plans though for older people J Fred had became difficult for them to get around in. Depending on the way the stadiums built the players may be able to enter through the stadium similar to Farragut and Maryville.

It looks like Hale and Allen are doing pretty well at the Christ School. The leading scorers were Shannon Hale (15 pts, 7 boards, 2 blocks); Will Weeks (12 pts, 8 boards); and Jaylen Allen (11 pts, 2 steals). Spenser Dalton ended up with 9 pts, while Senior Jerome Hairston played well on defense, scored 7 pts and led the team with 5 assists

I think the biggest problem with Clark is that he has been to nice. When you look through the last few years he has been playing players especially seniors who shouldn't be out there because their parents are on the quarterback club or whatever. Furhtermore, it seems like he is to loyal to his staff. For years we have complained about the secondary and they brought in Teddy Gaines but he had to take a backseat to the coach in place. I do think he needs to get an offensive coordinator to help and to make some changes in his staff. Because when you look at our coaching staff truly theres only one assistant who has played at a high level and that was at Georgia Southern when they were winning championships. Furthermore, I've been debating if we are winning off of just having the better athletes or from preparation and I was wondering what others thought.

I agree, if we don't fire Clark then we need to make sure he gives up the offense and he needs to shake up his coaching staff. The staff has gotten to stagnant many of those guys have been there to long.

Has anyone heard how the offseason is going? I've heard we got a lineman about Ty's size that just came out and I have heard of a few position changes.

The Hilltoppers really don't have depth you all have three good players in Allen, Hale, and Adams. Levauo, Howard, and Carter are decent players and could start at some other big eight schools not all. The rest of the team is JV level players. You all do not have depth it is just that the big three are so good and the competition is weak. If any player from your big three left you all would have lost at least two games in the season. You all can go to state and win a game, but the hilltoppers will have to only play the eight list because the other players are not ready for state competition. Especially the jv coaches son.

Science Hill is a pretty good team with three good players in Adams, Hale, and Allen. The substitutions kill your team. Furthermore, I think the team would be better if you moved Allen to the wing and put Levaou at the four. Also, the team has no backup point, I been to both DB games and the backup cannot handle the ball. I noticed in the DB game at Science Hill the players knew he could not handle the ball, because I noticed that got up on him and he helped DB by turning the ball over about two to three times.
