Fulton and Carter in the finals.Union Co. over G-P for third. Dist. 3 will roll in the Regionals.

The difference in the game will be the head coaches. Jody Wright and Fulton has a huge advantage in that area. He may be the best in the state.

The carter-gibbs and union co.-A-E games next friday nite should both be outstanding. Carter with wilson and bennett and union with vittetoe and buckner willnbe the favorites to advance to the final 4 and on into the regionals.

Gotta keep your poise. We have the same problem here with one of our players. Only hurts the team.

Cant believe my Roadrunners lost last nite to the patriots of union co. Give uc credit, they hit 3's and made their free throws down the stretch to win by 4. Dist. tour will be wide open, whoever gets hot at the right time can win it.Fulton and G-P will be favorites but Carter, A-E and Union Co. could play the role of spoiler.

Was it less fun winning with Smith living in Anderson County and Cox coming from Gibbs? Couldn't you pull any Halls kids? According to my research, Cox went to Luttrell Elementary and even played on the district championship team at Horace Maynard Middle. And as for having transfers, UC does not have any transfers, and we sure don't want any from Gibbs!

Just stating facts. It always is more special when u win with kid from your city or town.

If union co. is average what does that make gp? If the Knox. paper was right gp only beat uc by 1 @ gp on a very questionable call with 1 sec. left and then won in overtime at uc. If gp is the second best team in the state then uc must be #3. As 4 smith leaving, that was sour grapes because jessie chose to leave and not face the teams in what is the toughest dist. in the state. It seems like the new coach has done just fine.

Their girls and boys teams will both get thumped! When mills and roberts graduate, both programs will be at the bottom. Well i guess they can look forward 2 baseball and softball.

Been following G-P 4 a long time. Never knew them to get anybody in that could play B-Ball. This isnt abouy Sevier Co. schools, its about G-P only. Not whining, they still will have 4 or 5 dist. losses with the transfers. Without them they would be battling Pig. Forge 4 last place!

It looks a little more "fishy" when you're the only school in town and a football school at that. TSSAA understands that kids want 2 play 4 a coach and team that has a chance 2 win state every year. G-P has never had much of a program in B-Ball.

G-P might need some more transfers b 4 they are able 2 handle Fulton. G-P fans, for the most part, are rude and obnoxious. I guess they think because they may have $ that it gives them the right to curse and show their rear ends. Go falcons! It dont matter where they play, G-P Is not near good enough 2 challenge the 2 time defending state champions!

Gibbs fans and coaches r fine as long as they win. I've seen the girls coach at Gibbs beat teams as bad as they could. I love to hear their fans cry. My favorite team is anybody thats playing Gibbs!
