Congratulations to all the young ladies that were nominated. I just want to say the Jo Luffman from Lawrence County is an exceptional young lady on and off the basketball court. She is a great leader and an unselfish player. Good Luck Jordyn it has been a pleasure to watch you play!

The main reason LCHS fans sit on both sides is for the simple fact that we always have such a huge crowd that there is not room on the home side. It is like I said at the game, the kid should have not argued with them but they should not have talked about both teams like they did. He was just cheering on his team, they were saying some pretty harsh things at both the girls team and boys team. When you have an adult say things like "you can sure tell that she is a freshman, she is an awful free throw shooter" and then mocking our player every time he hit a 3, that's pretty sad. Good luck to wayne county the rest of the season.

Not sure what you feel like the "school section" did that was out of control?? When a bunch of "adult" fans start something with a 17 year old high school kid, that's out of control! When they started downing a freshman because her brother was yelling for her, that's pretty bad. I heard them talk about her like she was the worst player on the court. And not sure what waynesboro being a 1-A school has to do with the amount of talent they have. A school is considered 1A, AA, AAA based on the size of the school, not the talent that they have on their teams. Waynesboro has a great team and they played a great game. Kelsey played a great game as did the rest of the team, was the game tying shot a lucky shot probably but by you pointing that out you just made yourself look bad. When a team loses on the road it is usually considered the ref's fault, it amazes me that LCHS as won a total of 20+ games but according to the waynesboro fans we don't have a clue how to play the game of basketball.

BOBCAT, just curious on who the tumor was and what happened? You all had and I guess still do have a very athletic and well rounded team. I'm just wondering what happened?

Want to wish Jo. Luffman a quick recovery. We are thinking about you and praying you are able to be back on the court soon.

I have read once again all 28 pages of this topic and this is what I have to say: First of all if SCHS student section is so classy and NEVER writes things on their board about the other team why were they writing things about #10 being on steroids and #14 having a big nose and calling him big bird?? I believe that LCHS has admitted to running on the floor after the game, bad decision? maybe but they were excited. "SCHSMOM" If you don't have a #50 on your team then what is Jarell's #? and it has been stated that the LCHS student section should have gotten out of the way of the team by "bubblegum10" we were not in their way, our students were in THEIR STUDENT SECTION, not our fault that is where the great shelbyville administration put the opposing team student section. Now "bballrocks" no one is trying to end EA's career it looks like after friday night he doesn't need any help doing that, with the attitude and temper he has he will be able to do that all on his own and if we were so mad that EA won the Mcdonalds AA then why did almost every one of our fans, student section and basketball team stand up and clap for him and the honor that was given him? He is a great basketball player with a lousy, bad temper. If SCHS fans think that he was taunted to the point of fighting then what does that say about EVERY ball player that has every been taunted in a game, should they all storm the opposing student section??? And to answer the ? where was the LCHS administration, not sure, should have been there but it wasn't like there was no teachers or SRO's there for our school. And last but certainly not least........Good job on a GREAT win by the LCHS boys and girls.

Umpire, you are exactly right TSSAA needs to look at the game and at the officiating first but I have been to several games that were called worse than that and this kind of thing did not happen. This would not have happened had the shelbyville coaches showed more class and sportmanship and shook our teams hands but they were too worried about screaming at the ref's. It probably would not have happened had their locker room not been right beside our student section because tensions were high and our kids were very excited and their players were very upset. I think TSSAA needs to look at how the coaches handled the game and the loss and they need to look at how the players took the loss by jumping into our student section and starting to punch our kids.

I do know that Andrews went into LCHS student section and I do know that several SCHS players followed him. I also know that SCHS principal called LCHS fans white trash, cheaters and sore losers????? not sure where the sore losers came from since we won but that's what he said and I do know that there was alot of yelling at our coach and players about how awful the game was called. The only thing I am not sure of is why??? we came to play and we came to win. I think what happened after the game is a shame. Not sure if McDonalds picks their all americans based just on how well they play or if the expect you to have a good attitude off the court also, if they do they might want to reconsider giving him that honor.

I was at the game, saw the whole thing. Shelbyville coach DID push one of the LCHS cheerleaders, not sure whether it accidental or on purpose but he DID push her. The SRO for LCHS went to the coach and confronted him and tried to get a SCHS staff person to come over there to get it under control. The student section for LCHS was chanting for the SRO and Andrews come to the student section and got in one of the kids face, words were exchanged and Andrews threw a cheap shot and the other SCHS basketball players and LCHS students got involved. Shelbyville coaches were very upset after the game, the coaches were yelling at the ref's and head coach got ANOTHER tech.after the game was over. He was very upset. The whole situation got out of hand, not saying either side is innocent in the whole thing. What we do know for sure is one kid from LCHS received a severe cut above his eye from Andrews hitting him. Just curious what TSSAA will have to say about the whole situation
