  1. I know it's a little after the fact, but I am an o-lineman for the wildcats, and I can honestly say Shaq is top three, if not the best football player I have ever played. Unbelievable speed and quickness, along with his obvious strength and size. Good luck to him at the next level at Georgia Tech.
  2. Just wanted to say that you are correct about the Lawrence County Senior Class. They went undefeated and allowed six points all season as freshmen.
  3. LC scrimmaged a very stout and physical Hendersonville team Thursday and controlled the line of scrimmage and outplayed the commandos in my opinion, the wildcats also played well against Stratford friday. Defense looked great , and a question mark for wildcats, the offensive line, played well against an exceptional Hendersonville defensive line. A few concussions, and a couple of major injuries though.
  4. I agree. This week zero game will feature two of the best players in the state in tradarius goff and trent garland, and the Wildcats will look to avenge a very close loss to the lions last year,
  5. Thursday Night Lights would be a great idea for this game. it would feature two of the best teams in the mid state and some of the best players in this district It would definitely bring some exposure to two schools who sometimes get overlooked because they are towards the southern end of middle Tennessee.
  6. Dooleydaffy, I call my fair share of the board Friday night.
  7. Along with Coach Clark, give credit to A.J McCroskey and the bench of Lawrence County. A.J did a great job as a ball handler for the wildcats, and matched up very well with the speed and athleticism of Columbia.
  8. Thank you, dooleydaffy. We have to give credit to Lawrence County for capitalizing on almost every mistake made by Columbia, which is the only way you would be able to beat a great team like that.
  9. Hey bballrocks, isn't it your bedtime?? Preschool comes pretty early for 3-year olds. And if you're older than 3, how you act like and quit being stubborn and ignorant.
  10. I certainly agree. Both LCHS and T'town deserve some props. Being top dog can't last forever. Shelbyville has had their run. May be time for someone else, I don't know. I do know that everyone in attendance tonight was so appreciative that the team was able to walk to the dressing room witout incident. OKAY...we get it. Drop it seriously. If you can't earnestly give credit where credit is due, then don't halfheartedly congratulate someone.
  11. I apologize for even bringing it up. I was just trying to inform, and hoped that would be the end of it. Obviously, some people still want to place blame where it is not deserved. Like Dooleydaffy said, if you dont want to talk about the game bballrocks, then get off, and wine somewhere else.
  12. fballnfan01,SCHS lost tonight. Great game by the wildcats, a huge win. Great individual efforts by Kyle Brink, Shelley Young, and Trent Garland. Fun game to watch, and before anyone asks, no post-game "incidents".(sorry to bring it up).
  13. Well if your definition of shutting down is 26 point's and 5 three pointers from Andrew's, i guess that make's since? Ok, so he didn't "shut him down", but my point is that he was not allowed to take over the game like he has done so many times, including Lawrence County.
  14. Okay, we get it. Yea, we will see you at the district tourney, as long as Coach Thomas doesn't shove us all down and hurt us or we don't get a cheap shot from another Shelbyville player. GO CATS!!
  15. Definitely Jordyn. I don't have any exact stats, but she is dominant night in and night out, and brings way more to the table than just scoring. She can play position on the floor well, and is very good on defense. Also, she is no doubt the leader of this team, and possesses many leadership qualities.
  16. Truthseeker... first of all poop on your Mcdonald's All American. He got shut down by a junior in Shelley Young, and NO one was jealous of Andrews' honor. NO one was yelling at Andrews' directly, unlike your "perfect" Shelbyville fans who talk to our players saying stuff like "big nose" and saying one of our players was on steroids. He is a SORE LOSER winy girl just like everyone else in Shelbyville. Second: People DONT just fall down. Obviously your boy Thomas shoved her in some way to make her fall down, making her cry. It sounds to me like Shelbyville High is more a preschool and place for babies than a place of learning.
  17. Yes. No players from Lawrence County were involved. Only students.
  18. Thank You!! someone finally recognizes what GREAT game was played by the Lawrence County. Kyle hit all of the "bogus" technical foul freethrows to seal the deal for Lawrence county in the end. For everyone who is wining about the technicals given and the referees: I have been to hundreds of basketball games and maybe seen 10 t's called in my life. I was not at the game, but I have talked to many who were, and maybe some people can back me up on this, but whatever Technicals were called were well deserved. It sounded like the Eagles were playing like a bunch of babies, which apparently is a common theme in Shelbyville, a bunch of winy babies. You lost, and you couldn't handle it. SORE losers. I'd rather be white trash and whatever else SCHS's principal slandered LC with than whatever you want to call everyone who is involved with Shelbyville. Once again, congrats to the Lawrence County players.
  19. Thanks KiffinKrazy, I was wondering where they fell into the picture in this whole deal.
  20. Do I smell a Thursday Night Lights Game?
  21. Were any Shelbyville students involved in this, or was it just strictly players?
  22. To everyone who is downing the administration at LCHS and the fans of Lawrence County: I am a fan and student of Lawrence County, and before practically every game we are reminded of what we can and cannot say, and how to act. For example: we know we cannot say "suck" or use other curse words, and cannot speak to opposing players directly. We know basketball, and we are attentive. So, whoever says that we are rednecks who show up at games just to down the other team can shove it. We are well informed and from what I can tell, did not break any rules and not exhibit the immaturity that Shelbyville showed Friday night
