  1. Are you talking about regular season or district? No doubt they can run the table in the district, but they have two regular season losses.
  2. I heard something about a Shelbyville coach knocking down a cheerleader prior to the brawl breaking out. I don't know how much truth there is to this, but I know it wouldnt have taken much to rile up the already pumped up Wildcat fans. Don't know who started it, but I have a feeling it was a mutual thing.
  3. No doubt. I can't imagine that Shelbyville was too pleased with the way they played at Lawrence Co. Lady cats will be ready.
  4. Kyle Brink from Lawrence County. It's a longshot, but this kid is quietly putting together a impressive senior season, averaging around 15 points a game, is lights out from 3 point range, and is a team leader for the wildcats. If he has a good rest of the season, and has a good postseason, look for his name to pop up in some Mr. basketball discussions.
  5. No doubt Lawrence Co. lady cats. If they can get a win against Shelbyville this Friday night at Shelbyville,no doubt they will win the district. You have to worry about them a little come regional tournament time though due to the weak district. The best team they have played this year is Blackman, and they have lost to them on multiple occasions. That being said, I do like the Lady Cats to make a deep run this year, because i don't believe they have "peaked" as a team yet, especially with the youth they put on the floor. Oh, yeah, and having one of the top basketball players in the state in Jordyn Luffman never hurts either.
  6. I didn't see this post anywhere, so I will ask. Looking at the 2010 season season, how do things look like they'll shape up in District 8 AAA, and who look like the front runners for District MVP?
  7. His name is Charles Sweeton, and he is in the 6'6-6'7 range, and hovers around 300. He is attracting serious attention from Austin Peay, and UT-Martin. I believe he has made official visits to both, and Austin Peay has visited him at school and made a house visit. If i had a guess, I would say that he goes to Peay, if he doesn't get an offer from a D-1 school.
  8. It is my understanding that Sparkman was caught selling drugs while at North Carolina, and was dismissed from the team. I have also heard that he has two years of NCAA eligibility left, and is going to play at a small college next season. Don't know where though.
