  1. Lawrence County could have made their game against Columbia more interesting if their starting GK had played, he was a at college try out in New York. Hopefully a rematch in the district tournament will spice things up.
  2. I don't think these standing will hold, I've heard Lincoln County has a strong team, also Shelbyville and Tullahoma have lost some talent and are not as good as previous years. Columbia is always a talented team. Lawrence County, well people are going to be surprised, this will be one of the toughest district battles 8AAA has seen I believe. People have doubted Lawrence County in every sport this 09-10 athletic year, and we like it. Lawrence County has a different coach from last year, different attitude, more heart, and talent all over the field. It's going to be a great year for 8AAA Soccer.
  3. Also in Middle TN, Smyrna traveled to Lawrence County Friday night and went back home with a 1-1 tie. Both teams had a fairly solid game, big defensive scrimmage. Both LCHS and Smyrna's goal came off PK's. LCHS looks forward to their season greatly. This Thursday Wayne County travels to Lawrence County for a 5 p.m. scrimmage.
  4. Come on surely somebody knows.
  5. How's this years 8AAA soccer teams looking?
  6. HAHA lol new name for crunchtime guys Jeffie haha - go for gold lol What??? We called EA "Jimmie" when SCHS played here at LCHS because well we found a resemblance between EA and a movie character. Whose name was Jimmie. and Jeffie was another character.
  7. HAHA lol new name for crunchtime guys Jeffie haha - go for gold lol
  8. What about the football coach? He was with the kid that the SCHS players beat the crap out of!! No, during at at the end of the game, not after the fact..... I honestly just don't understand why a teacher from another school would be arguing in all this. I mean really a math teacher of all things. This is ridiculous. I mean I'm probably half your age. Please show just a little class and represent your school.
  9. No, sorry if this offends anyone, but if cannot accept defeat you should not be playing. Trash talk is part of sports. I play two sports and have endured this trash talk. Yes I have lost my cool, but as an athlete you must control your anger and frustration and stay cool.
  10. Yes, very true dooleydaffey. SCHS2010 this is what a rivalry is all about. Your a beast lol. We play hard fight hard and one team comes out on top, and see we all still friends in the end. Just a simple fan supporting our team. Thanks for being sensible.
  11. i've gone to school with emmanuel all throughout high school and he's never been in any kind of trouble in or outside of school that any of us are aware of. As for technicals he might have some, but i mean even some of the best players display a bad attitude when they feel a bad call was made, etc. He's a really good kid in and out, works hard at everything he does.. that's why everyone is defending him so much, because we feel he would never just do any of this upon himself. By upon himself do you mean taunting from the fans made Andrews take action? i'm not saying taunting directly.. but a student did provoke him otherwise he wouldn't just jump in the stands and fight. like i've said SO many times through out this thing we've lost before in that gym and we've had may student sections right where they were sitting and nothing like this has EVER happened.. so why would he just want to jump in the stands and hit people that night? Very true, but that's just what the LCHS student section does to even the greatest players. We are loud, proud, and LOUD! During the Columbia last night we had a ref actually say and I quote "WOW ya'll are loud". We of course all said thank you . But we get in a player's head and make them make mistakes. Most of it is in fun, we make jokes either how a player looks, runs, shoots, anything to get in their heads. We apparently went too far with Andrews. That plus the loss drove him to take action I believe. Sure knowing our student section words were most likely exchanged before the first fist flew, but that's apart of basketball or any sport trash talk happens.

  13. That's my point guys. The father admitted that it was not malicious. I just find it odd that no one from LC can admit that their accusations of assault were not true. If the Principal is expected to apologize for his words the people who accused the coach of assault should be expected to do the same. I am not trying to argue with you. I am trying to understand why no one from LC can admit that they wrongly crucified the coach on this site for something that the parents decided was "not malicious". Is that so hard to understand? Can no one from LC step up and admit that they were wrong with their accusations of assault? This is the definition of Assault-: a threat or attempt to inflict offensive physical contact or bodily harm on a person (as by lifting a fist in a threatening manner) that puts the person in immediate danger of or in apprehension of such harm or contact The way I comprehend this is any threat or unwanted contacted between two individuals. So whether the contact was unintentional or intentional, technically it is assault. I do not personally know the parents of the cheerleader, but by "not malicious" I believe they think the force used to knock the LCHS cheerleader down was unintentional. It is still assault. I would also like to say that this rivalry will be one that will last, and I personally can't wait for the next time LCHS plays SCHS in any sport. Soccer, football, baseball, basketball, bowling, tennis, etc. will be exciting because of this Wildcat Eagle Rivalry.
  14. [qT"] Sorry you brought that up but since you did, How is that "Assault" charge progressing? I myself know how it is going, do you? They do not think it was malicious so prefer not to press charges. Coach Thomas attempted to apologize but they were already outside and did not want to go back in the gym so they told the principal they accepted the apology and left. Lets talk about the LCHS win over Columbia now. Thank you Coach T. WHAT A WIN!!
  15. dooleydaffy--good post...except the stuttering part i resent that lol
  16. I'll tell you one time and one time only...........LAWRENCE (lawrence!!) COUNTY (county!!!) WILD (wild!!!) CATS (cats!!!) LAWRENCE COUNTY WILDCATS! GO CATS!
  17. The SRO did not start or create the problem, he was only doing what an officer should do. He confronted an adult about assaulting a teenager....this is all a bunch of silliness. This whole thing is a result of bad coaching. The LCHS Coach had his players where they should be, "in the locker room". Had the SCHS Coach been an adult and shown his kids how to be good sports, shook the opposing teams players and coaches kids hands and escorted his team off the court this would have never happened. Good thing there is video showing all this so the truth will come out...It's sad that there are adults like this mentoring our kids...I'm really disappointed. Your right, the SRO did a great job??? I guess that is why like ten people told on him for taunting coach Thomas, and after the gym was pretty much cleared, two officers, the principal, our SRO officer, and the Super Intendant were in a heated argument with LC's SRO officer. And you would think if the guy had done such a great job he would have some other Lawrence County people over there with him backing him up. But guess what, there were 0 LC people backing him up. I saw it going on, so don't tell me i'm wrong about this.[/qute] Hey ! Your wrong about this ! Ol' Jeffie boy lol guess what like the post of above me said....your wrong about this.
  18. You are right a lot of schools and players would love to have this type of support. Coach T to the rescue. In my opinion, maybe because i am a part of the student section, LCHS Wildcat's have the best most dedicated highschool student section in the state. I've been to numerous away game's, not all the time but most of the time our Student section is close to or just as big as the Home teams. That's dedication only true sports fans can show. Go Cats!
  19. What's done is done. Bottom line LCHS won. Hope Andrews learns to control his anger and show more class.
  20. Yeah, where was your staff? Besides your SRO starting the whole thing? To busy having a talk with your coach for knocking down a cheerleader! You are so ignorant. Nuff said ya ain't got anything else to say. Making it another LCHS VICTORY!! lol
