  1. Too bad a good team has such a sorry backing. Whoever had the siren...well I think you know what you can do with it. Good luck to the vikes.
  2. Way to go hero. This has got to be the most ridiculous thread I've seen on here. It's morons like you that give the rest of the Boone folks a bad name.
  3. Look at life since the big 8 was put together. Pretty sure the Vikings are always the ones that have the "were not as good as we thought we were" moments. 2009 followed by not even making it last year. You want to take stats away from 2 games to prove your qb surperior? Well guess what jack, it doesn't work that way. It's called inconsistency and it does not make him a good qb. Littleton has intercepted way more interceptions than he had thrown. I'd take him any day over the Vikings qb.
  4. Hard for me to believe the Vikings are better at the skilled positions. Six turnovers and you still tout that you qb and receivers are better than boones? Unless Boone looks over the Vikings, which I'd say JJ isn't letting that happen, there is no way this game is even close.
  5. Well first of all I think that it is completely ridiculous that the only two 5a big 8 conference teams to make it are playing in the first round. I promise not to whine about it anymore, it's the hand we were dealt so gotta go play the game. Alot has changed since these teams played a month ago. Boone really hasn't been tested since losing #23 so I'd say at this point it's anybodys game. I believe it will come down to who wants it more and I'm highly doubting Tn High turns the ball over like they did in the last game. I guess what I'm trying to say is I really don't want to play TN High, they owe us one from a couple of years back when we knocked them out of the playoffs when they were ranked number one in state.
  6. Didn't say it was impossible, said that it should never happen. DB and SH were both in rare down years and Boone came out of nowhere. It was the first year of a new conference and everyone was kinda getting a feel for each other. But thanks for bringing up that Boone knocked out the top ranked Vikings in the castle, but I wouldn't call it much of an upset. Stubbs just got out coached and players thought they had it won before they took the field. Although I could see a similar thing happening if Boone and TH play in the playoffs. Similar scenario, I could see it being bad for Boone.
  7. I don't expect to be rewarded for being Boone by no means. But I don't expect to be penalized for losing to two state ranked 6a teams. Just doesn't make sense for a team to come from a weaker conference and finish first or second but have a worse record or have not played the same caliber teams and get a higher seed. In this case Boone gets the shaft year after year because they should never beat DB or SH. Not saying it isn't possible for them to beat them but it shouldn't happen. Oh well might as well play a tougher team in the first round and grow a little bit throughout the playoffs.
  8. Yall know alot more about this than I do but I thought that you didn't play teams from your conference in the first round. Also how do you justify No. 1 and No. 2 with a 7-3 record in a conference getting a higher seed than a team that is 8-2 from a different conference but finished No. 3 in conference. I just can't see Boone getting penalized for finishing No. 3 in a conference with two 6a teams that finished 10-0 and 9-1 and ranked in state polls.
  9. Well it's been an interesting week here on Coacht. I appreciate the good time. And no hard feelings. Everybody seems to agree on one thing....refs sucked! Good luck to the hilltoppers and prayers for the injured players on both sides.
  10. I dont know that SH qb receivers have that much of an advantage over boones secondary. Tn high qb and receivers are a very good unit and Boone picked em apart. If Boone contains and takes away the big plays then it's a winable game. That's not outside of the realm of possibility contrary to what bandino will say.
  11. Nah bandino fits you much better. Also, capacity at Neyland stadium is 102,465. 80,000 is more than most college stadiums hold and they couldn't win a drinking contest right now.
  12. The University of Tennessee has had back to back losing seasons and are well on their way to another. They still can't beat Florida (8 years running). But they still manage to average around 80,000 fans a game. Try again bandino.
  13. Alright give him a break I think he's been blowing on this thing all day and feeling a little light headed. Ok well never mind it was a really big tuba and the link won't work.
  14. He's helping to support your case and you knock him down? A tuba and calculator await you maybe you should just stick to "your love of music". That one time at band camp......we all know how that one ends.
