Two of the runs were the product of an 0-2 fastball right down the middle to Cody Jernigan. In the second inning, he misfielded a bunt that put runners on first and second with no outs, which then led to a hit batter and a hard hit ball down the line on a hanging curve.

Tullahoma's pitching from Brad Roepke was probably the main reason they lost. He was leaving balls up and over the middle of the plate the whole time. He was hanging curves and giving them tons of pitches to hit. Franklin County's hitting was nothing special. They were getting bloop hits off down the middle fastballs.
