That is right. All three teams have lost 1 and beat each other, so whoever wins out will be the number 1 seed.

I agree he is a good coach. GC is set for the next 5 years after this year and probably longer than that. Micah Hart will be a freshman starting the 2020 season and her little sister is not far behind her. And the other schools are loaded with talent. Coach Wilkins efforts with the feeder programs are now in effect. We will be reloading instead of rebuilding. I think they will be ready and hopefully they wil play fast and they will be fine. I agree we have played better since TCA.

I made a comment to play TCA defensively faceguarding TCA like we did Greenfield and you backfired about Greenfield. TCA is our next meaningful opponent so they do have our attention I will assure you as does Peabody and whoever else. And for the record, GC will guard whoever Greenfield steps out there I will assure you. They won't be anyone left alone.

I didn't say double team any of them. I said faceguard them and if somebody else gets beat on our team for the one's that are guarding Darby and Moore to stay put. Naturally others can play helpside defense, but it is not a true double team. We didn't double team anyone last team we played Greenfield.

Yeah they looked like we're playing in 12 inches of sand instead of a hard floor and trying to play a slow game and run the clock out. They have sped it up since then and been in more attack mode and hopefully they play like they did at our Christmas Tournament when we played Sikeston, Dyersburg and South Side. That was the best I have seen them play. That was after we lost to Dyersburg at their place.

I believe your right. Reason I say if I am Wilkins I take our two or three best defenders and faceguard every one else's best players on defense and attack all night on offense playing up tempo.

Clarkrange is a very good team and has a chance to win it all no doubt.

If Wilkins has wits about him he will faceguard Macey Lee and Sally Howell and tell whoever is guarding them to stay put and don't leave them for help side defense same way we did Greenfield with Moore and Darby and should definitely create havoc for them. If you get beat with players other than Lee and Howell or Darby and Moore you just get beat. One thing GC does have consistent is shutdown defenders.

The Summertown Loretta Region isn't that strong either but they are good teams. How do you know Telico is that bad? I respect anyone at this point.

Keep us up to date on the Clay County Clarkrange game time and date with snow possibly changing dates and what not. Might be one I would like to watch.

I agree I hadn't seen you guys play and I hadn't seen North Green, Clay County ..... play. But Greenfield won the state last year and kept their core group. GC has split with Greenfield the last two games and I seen Clarkrange play this summer and has beaten Macon County already. I am really basing comments on Greenfield being the defending champs and not losing their core group. No doubt East TN can play too.

I really think one of GC, Greenfield or Clarkrange will win the Gold Ball in no particular order. But who is to say a Summertown, Loretta, Clay County or TCA can't get hot and win it. Right now it is a coin flip, IMO. I don't think the early losses actually hurts teams but helps them if they can get better and Greenfield is obviously getting better and will be a force to be reckoned with no doubt.

Depth will be the question with Greenfield. They got in foul trouble against GC early and it hurt them early in the year. Last year they had the key role players that would come off the bench. They can win it but do they have quality depth?

I wouldn't say that. Clarkrange will be tough. I seen them this summer and they can play. I have never ever seen the parity in HS basketball in West TN like it is this year. Any body can be beat on a given night. We have seen it already.

1 and 3 of your district tourney are in the same bracket and 2 and 4 are in the same bracket. Good win tonight. You obviously dictated pace and got out of the 24-20 game.

Clarkrange is the team to beat, IMO. They have lost 2 or 3 but we all have. Clarkrange and GC both should have been there last year.

I think I got him mad when I said there was very little defense in the Crockett County Greenfield game. Let's just say this. Every body can't play everybody. I don't think anyone is scared to play anyone. I think GC understandably wants to play as many good and decent Single A schools first to become familiar with them and fill the rest with good AA teams or AAA teams. Greenfield is good and has some good players and has my and the state's respect and probably is the favorite to win it because they won it last year but I don't think any one is dodging them or scared of them.

We will see how it unfolds. You know Gleason is coming Friday with the slow down and the zones. GC and Greenfield are both good but the Gleason's and TCA's are good as well. Just have to see how it unfolds. I think you will see more coaching especially in the tournaments. I mean as of instead of players just matching up in man that coaches start assigning players to start guarding certain players.

Why don't Greenfield play Westview? Same reason we don't play Crockett because you can't play everyone on schedule. Crockett is having a good year. We played them in a 40 minute scrimmage two days before season started and played them in jamboree. We play Huntingdon twice, Greenfield, Gleason twice, Dresden, Union City, Bradford, Summertown, McNairy, Dyersburg twice, South Side. Can't believe you would insinuate that GC is scared to play a team.

Why GC don't play who? Crockett County? We played them twice in one week before the Hall of Fame week. GC can't help what District they are in. We played Crockett County twice this summer as well. Can't believe you or anyone else would knock GC's schedule. Just saying the obvious. 0 defense obviously in Crockett County tonight.

Edie probably had 19 rebounds. Crockett County can play no doubt. Don't sound like either team played a possession of defense.

Has players that have very little skill level at all. Ran out of talent. Burkley is probably one of the best coaches in West TN. Look at Jackson County. I watched us play real lethargic on offense against these teams this year but not tonight. They were really moving the ball around and getting it up the floor quick.We scored 50 in the first half and the clock ran the hole 2nd Half.

They played really good tempo tonight vs Middleton. Best game they played all year against the lower tier of the district. They really played fast again tonight offensively. I feel like if they players and get the ball up court the sky is the limit with them.
