I think middle school should stay at 40 ft. because summer ball. Some sixth grade pitchers will have to adjust to 8 inches moving from 10 and U. I think this will be a problem for some middle school pitchers. Most of the middle school players come from 10 & U and 12 &U summer teams.

Any district rainout games this week? Some schools in this district reports their scores in the Chattanooga Freepress and some don't. Why not?

How are the spring middle school softball teams dealing with this change? Anyone knows All of our schools in the area plays in the fall.

I believe we see an improvement in the players hitting this then in the past. I believe going back to 43 feet is going to help the hitters. Strong pitchers that are going to college later will find this will be a great help going through this now then after high school is over. This change will be difficult for some pitchers for awhile but everything will balance out toward the end of the season.

Does each team play each other once or twice this season to decide ranking?
