Whoa, be careful, you might start to sound cynical about the situation. Past season at SC almost had a scenario which would have played during graduation and even our principal was on board for having an on-field ceremony the following day. Now that's manning up! Too bad for Scott's Hill... could have been different. Shouldn't put any blame on the playoff system for their poor decisions.

Your option is to go to the administration, but also may come back to bite you if they back his arrogance and stupidity. Luckily never had to deal with that side. When a coach puts himself above the program, you're doomed.

Coach Cothron will be missed at TC. Met him at the Adidas All-Star game at Cumberland. His efforts to pull that off were great along with the support the community gave. If they get behind the next coach, TC will be back in the mix.

Most definitely agree with that... been to too many where you shake your head and wonder. Great to have the effort, but a real waste of time when RF can't get a throw past 2b for RF-3b drill. Coaches don't always want their own to know and then slow up process with real talent. Have seen ours handpick those to attend, based on need and ability to be showcased.

Good luck to Coach Carter... much will change at MJ and for the good as far as the way the program is run. May not immediately translate to wins, but the "inside joey's" will have to step up instead of being voted in or it handed to them ($$).

Not quite sure if they disagree with the fact that baseball is a series sport or the other states do it that way??? Or just want to ride that arm to the top, after all it's a team sport. It's a good plan, just getting T$$AA to see it is a whole different bag of worms.

Have you really thought out your respnose before you pop it out there? What part of this proposal is so bad that the current system seems OK? You must have a real beef with TSSSAA, who cares if they make a buck, if more fans/parents are able to see games. The districts are at host sites, why not the regions too. And riding one donkey all the way is why most districts play back to back days. So, please... share your enlightenment.

You added pros, surely you have a con or 3... I like it, how do you sell it to T$$AA? The host site makes too much sense... mainly because you're making 1 extra team travel. Big whoop.
