HardTackle seem to just be a blabber mouth , he knows of no facts . What CR has done has been nothing less than impressive and he also doesn't know the history of proven coaches . These coaches have been successful coach / coordinator

Williams, Woods, Broome, Gore, Page , Fitzgerald. Several

From the names mentioned that are finalist none have been proven coaches

Already did when they fired Williams and to top it off interview the guy that backstabbed him. Great leadership and examples Metro.

Don't know him since he is an outsider but Good for Antioch. Hope it works out for them this go around ,now on to Overton and from the names chosen I don't think this will be a good hire

I agree ... Race shouldn't matter if the guy can get the job done. I've been on staffs with a melting pot and they all did darn good

Principal hired him as a favor from her admin which is buddies with this coach and game him the weight room and told him he can coach football. Williams didn't hire him. We are all outsiders in this but these are facts . Once again I don't know the guy and I think highly of STEVE O. From my understanding he hasn't been coaching long and hasn't had a bigger role such as a coordinator but thinks he can run the show that baffles me. Like previously stated I know you don't want to believe it but these facts came from very strong sources and it's been getting around. You reap what you sow. Nobody wants someone like that around . Good luck to Steve he will be bounce back . Antioch is a good start up job and could be good down the road with the demographics moving in Hillwood principal is one to work for, he cares about athletics. Can't wait to see his hire...

Workin I know you don't want to believe it ... The fact that no name was mentioned speaks volumes to me. You guys don't want to believe it. The fact that Mr. Brown came and put his 2cents in it as well speak volumes. Truth is the truth. Backstabbing is backstabbing no matter who you are, it just isn't ethical and I'm sure of this information, so it's really not a rumor. If Williams was asked and he was 100% truthful about it then we all would know but he is a good guy and may turn the other cheek. A guy comes in on his staff not hired by him and does sneaky stuff year in and out to try and get his job that he isn't no where near qualified for is as shady as it gets . I don't know the guy but you really don't want to after you hear all this . It's really part of the problem at Overton . Staff not in the building and stuff in the building trying to push him out .

Isn't that ironic that you would think that, strong rumors/ facts have been released that he was helped pushed out by a staff member hoping to take over . I don't think someone would make this up with such reliable sources But I understand why you would say that.

Steve did all he could there. The talent isn't flowing like it was when we were growing up. Overton will not be the respectable program it once was, especially as long as it has coaches on the staff backstabbing the head coach for his job. Antioch search is taking too long which forces me think they will have to settle for someone that don't want.

Sub par coaching record, there is no way he was the best candidate.

The school systems have caused this issue. There is no repercussions allowed in Metro schools .. there is always a law / rule to keep students out of trouble to improve graduation rates.. kids have to darn near kill someone to get expelled.. other countries don't have these limitations. If the kids act like this in the building do you see the struggle to instill discipline outside of the school day . Not making any excuses just stating, it's not as easy as these county schools have it . Metro has some good coaches better than some of these county schools they just face many more battles that other coaches don't have . Granted it is still mandatory in football and some metro coaches struggle with it .. such as east , Antioch , and Overton from what I hear. All 3 should have new coaches

Im retired.. but believe me I would do a way better job and have some structure . Tell your coach to step down and take the Antioch job he has wanted for years so someone can at least make the EN program respectable

I support all metro but there was some truth behind the DarkKnight messages. PC should have a couple Gold Balls since Fitz leaving, some of the best talent in all of Nashville . I as well have seen you guys at non feeder school games but I understand, that's the game being played now of days. I believe there are some good coaches at PC but their talent does carry them some times . I have also heard there is some mutiny on the staff trying to throw Brunetti over board . If so that is horrible and shows a lack of loyalty. Sometimes the grass isn't any greener on the other side . I wonder if that's why he applied for Gallatin.
