You guys usually do a great job covering the local teams, but I noticed in your report on the blount county jamboree on Friday night you failed to even mention the #2 6A team in the state. Hopefully this was a simple case brain freeze. By the way Maryville won 14-0. GO REBS!!!

What are your first impressions?

Maryville looked alot sharper,especially on the defensive side. Does anyone know how Clinton's quarterback is doing? He was carried off the field about half way through the scrimage. I hope he's o.k.

REBELRON, I RESPECT YOUR INTEREST IN THE TEAM. There wil be plenty of time for trash talking in the months to come. From what I hear the coaches are thinking about maybe moving some of the quicker o-linemen over to d-line. I think we were lacking in speed and quickness in that area, in the championship game. We won't know anything for sure until the boys strap on the pads in couple of weeks. Whatever G.Q. and the staff deceides I know it will be in the best interest of our team.
