Oak Ridge and Farragut are middle of the road volleyball teams as of now. Baylor destroyed Farragut at OR. Oak Ridge looked very slow and tired, At times a little not interested! AC looks like AC at this time of the year. Webb and AC looked alot alike with Webb winning a close one. AC has a bench load of players on that team. Coach rotated most of the girls on her bench, AC simply could wear you down in 5 games.Looks like AC will be the team for years to come. I think Karns and AC will go back to state this year. Karns doesnt play well up against biggger stronger teams, AC has simply been there and they understand what tournment volleyball is. I saw the club coaches this past weekend simply looking like club coaches. Its good when you have all superstars on a team but high school Vball is putting a team together with only a few superstars. As of now ITS Karns, AC, Maryville, and the rest just follow.

I think Central and Powell both will give AC a game. AC has no defense very small and inexperinced. The offense looks to score fast and at will. I wonder what will happen when the game slows with the other team controling the clock? The AC O-line looks very small not sure they will hold up throughout the season. I even think OAK RIDGE could be interesting for them. Blade has this team on the course he has for them. It hard to beat them at home. Has been for years. AC IS GOOD, BUT WHEN THE MUD AND RAIN COMES THIS FALL, WILL THEY SURVIVE?

Dragon, IM talking both games. AC coach out smarted him by allowing clinton to show his hand in the regular season. Clinton never changed its playbook for the playoff game, AC took it at the Dragons in the playoffs with things Clinton wasnt prepared for. Why pull Cam in that playoff game? He would have had a record night! First half Clinton had AC on the ropes, but at half time something or someone changed the game plan for Clinton. Id say one mad Daddy because little boy wasnt playing! Oh well it is Clinton and parents have run the program since Gaylor left. No upsets for the Dragons this year, Again the Dragon tradition just isnt there. Enjoy the victory this week Karns is awful!

The coaching at Clinton is simply awful. Did anyone notice the AC game last year? The AC coaching staff put a whipping on a more talented team than they. Oak Ridge hAS a great coach and with time they will be tough again. Its so bad in Clinton right now they had to hire little Larry Kerr to help coach a line that is big and very slow! A word to parents in Anderson co, let you kids go to AC they will enjoy playing the wide open offense and alot better coaching. Clinton will lose to OR,CENTRAL, POWELL, AC, HARDIN VALLEY CAN RUN THE FOOTBALL. They can beat Karns but they are awful in coaching also. Simply put the coaching looks like little league football and not Old time smash mouth Clinton football. Hopefully soon someone will see this and that the once proud Dragon program needs a football coach.

Ambrose was awful at QB anyway, this will be better for the future~~ QB with a couple yrs to play will be better.

At least in volleyball the girls have to make a effort! Maryville and Alcoa dont even have to try on most friday nights. haha, RECRUITMENT IS A MUST IN BLOUNT CO!( GEORGE THIS MORNING IN KNS SAID, YOU JUST HAVE TO TAKE WHAT WALKS INTO YOUR DOOR AND DO YOUR BEST!) Wow if they cant stop Farragut they are in trouble. The admirals looked awful in the other games. Either team will be lucky to win 5 it looks like. D-B may put a whipping on both these teams.

I always thought the Stanton boys were good middle school players and Average high school players, nothing real special but a good laugh to watch the attitudes! Discipline is needed to perform at a higher level. Anywhere else and they are 2nd or 3rd string at best.

A spanking is still a spanking, no matter if your best friends or not! Alcoa and Maryville= Best recruited teams in Tennessee! Ask the TSSAA these two schools control it too! To me its got really boring watching this on Friday nights, sorry but we all know the outcome! just the truth sorry!

Where is Oneida? Never heard of them being mentioned before as a football powerhouse? Of course I only keep up with 5 and 6 AAA schools, The little schools are ok but cant get into Jellico or Powell Valley. One good player can control the night. Good luck though!

I get tired of Farragut football, my gosh ever once awhile they have a decent football team. But as normal they will fall back into what they will always be. NOTHING! They might play with Central and Carter this year!

I heard it was a butt whipping at Maryville, Clinton will be very lucky to win 6 this year.

Well I think its not the team colors but the team heart! They are now the worse football program in Knox County. And now with Hardin Valley closing in the sports programs has a whole at Karns is simply finished. Their Volleyball team even had to go out and recruit! hahahahahaha

A area coach has told me that Clinton will suck this year if what he heard is true, the new principle is looking into some of their players grades. A big blow up could be coming this week over grades, any news?

KARNS HAS A FOOTBALL TEAM?

Clinton has talent but my goodness the coaching is awful!!! The good ole boy network is alive and well in Clinton. All they needed last year was coaching. Do the Clinton kids even have a workout program? The look very small, Will the vice mayors son survive this year when the fussing begins? They better hand the ball off to the little tailback, if they would have left him in the game last year verse AC they would have won the game. He dissappeared after halftime,wonder what happen the good ole boy network didnt like it? mmmmmm, interesting!

I think the west tennessee all-stars are better than the east tennessee all-stars this year! Poor old Lenoir city and loudon they cant seem to keep enough players at their schools. Wonder why? Good luck East tennessee all-stars!!! haha ,Does Coach even teach a class at muryville high? Wise move on the taxpayers of Maryville city. I think they will go to the title game but another beat down by the boys from the west!

Just heard from a source that Anderson County had a 6 '4 or 6 '5 player transfer from Ohio to their program. Anyone heard if this is true or not?

The state of Tennessee does have a few good teams, but when he has to face off with kids from Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, The teams are better and the rosters are deeper. The best hitters in this state would drop off against deeper southern teams. Sorry just the truth

Hip strength, Placement of ball to the batter, Placement of feet on rubber, Stop throwing ball in center of plate, work on placement of pitches at knees and under arms, Bring ball inside more. Should I say more! Anyway good luck to him. Dont worry any major league scout will tell him he can make it, they are hurting for young talent in all rookie leagues. Get an education young man!

Yes we do see holes and flaws that can cause arm and strength issues. Surely not saying this kid wont make it but with the issues that we are concerned with his chances could be slim in our system. Have scouted for 18 years with PAC-10 and SEC ties, I only work Tennessee and Georgia, Florida areas. We all must understand that on the message boards alot of misunderstandings are happening. This is all talk here but when the rubber meets the road the decision is the colleges. This kid has a great fastball and yes he did have a great high school tournment but at the college level everyone is on a level playing field. You must be able to place and work the system given to you. Good Luck to this young man. Sorry to disappoint all his fans!
