Exactly, listen to this true story form this year's postseason.. Team A beats Team B decisively in the regular season... the players shake hands after the game and the Team B players have the nerve to say to the winning team - "See you in district championships"... okay well turns out that they were correct and Team B met Team A in the District Finals. Once again, the result was the same, with team A handing team B another lopsided deafeat. However, after the game, the Team B players once again have the nerve to say "See you in the Region Championship, boys".... And as you may guess, team A and Team B made it through the Region-Semis and played for the Region Championship.. The result was still the same, with Team A cruising to yet another victory over Team B... And still, after the game the Team B players shake hands and say "See you at State." Now this seems like a problem.. A team beats another team twice in postseason play, yet the team is still not out and very much has the chance to play their common counterpart for the 4th time of the season in the State Tournament..

Of the 4 classifications, all are still in it to my knowledge... Boyd, Christian Brothers, ECS, and Hendersonville. Of the 4, which would you bet could have the greatest chance of going back-to-back?

You're wrong. I remember in 08, there was a new post every single time i checked it. There was topics about individual games and many topics i remember had 5-7 pages. I could bump one from back then just to show an example. Under one topic about a certain district, we talked about All-district players, District Goalkeeper MVP, you name it... There was as much talk on the soccer board in 08 as there is the baseball board right now. CoachT as a whole, is not as used as it once was

If Hendersonville beats Wilson Central tonight, they would be top of that side of the district. Last i heard the score was 8-1, Hville.

The South division may be better, but that will change from year to year. So that doesnt really matter. Im just saying pretty much everyone in the district seems to be at the same level.

Lebanon? lol. Hendersonville handled them last week, so you cant really say they would be the best in the northern division.. But lets face it, the entire district is pretty much even. i wouldnt bet on any of these teams beating the other. Theyre all about the same. The only team i dont think is as good as the others is Portland. So its anyones district for the taking, really.

My understanding is that Hendersonville and Beech are tied for 1st on that side. They are supposed to play each other this week, which would be the decider i think

Yeah i was wondering where Hville and cbhs were.. Yours are pretty solid I think, bearden wouldn't be my number one tho... maryville is probably the best team out of the east imo. They were really good last year and they were all juniors. Don't be surprised if they beat out bearden and Farragut in the DOD

Just to clarify, i think he was refering to the teams like Knox west, mccallie, chat christian, and maryville. someone said those teams should be in the fab 50, but those 4 teams i just mentioned prolly arent any better than the 50th ranked team (farragut), so they shouldnt be in there

First time since 2002 that a Hendersonville team didnt win district. Congrats to Station Camp, who brought some excitement to 9AAA. Hville went on to win state, but their last loss came to the hands of a district opponent, so obviously, there is alot of talent within this district. Predictions: I think Hville will get back on top, last year was their wake up call that district is not a given. Station Camp is very well coached, and they know how to get rusults in the big games. However, Beech may be better and more talented than SC this year. Thats my top 3

On the bright side guys, at least we can proudly say that girls basketball is the ONLY weak part of Hendersonville Athletics.. We're strong at everything but this, and no other teams around here can really say that. So we may not have Girls Basketball, but we sure do have everything else. (and this i can prove)

Ravenwood might be the best of this district, but didnt they lose their main playmaker in the middle? Big tall guy who won everything in the air. ravenwood has Mason and Linder still tho. who are brentwoods playermakers this year?

I agree on Hendersonville, but SC? we're talking state contenders here, not district. Contender wise, there may be at least 1 from the West...the Mid-state contenders will probably be Hendersonville, Ravenwood and Brentwood... the East will probably still have Bearden and Farragut in the mix even though Farragut lost such a huge class. The East powers seem to be down compared to previous years, which could leave way for a dark horse. Im expecting a few upsets to come out of East TN this year.

I dont think he'll play much. yesterday was the first day he jogged since the game. i'd be suprised if he played much. which is unfortunate, because he's probably the main playmaker on Hville's O.

Thats the worst excuse ive ever heard. The Green Wave got destroyed by the commandos all night and beat you by 3 touchdowns. The refs called just as many crucial penalties on Hendersonville on friday night as they did on Gallatin. Just because the Gallatin players dont know how to control their emotions off the ball and get personal fouls doesnt mean its the refs. your undiciplined players got dominated all night, and it couldve actually been much worse.

Your off by 6. Hville beat Gallatin at the Wave Yard in 04. I look to see the Commandos continue on their roll, and get the W over Gallatin. Gallatin might want to bring in extra bleachers for the Commando faithful as well. it should be packed.

They were out for blood. beech players were limping all over the place hit after hit. There wasnt a better atmosphere in Tennessee on Friday night. a stadium like HHS has, overfilled with people lined around the fence. There isnt a better rivalry anywhere.
