Scouts don't even look at averages, they look for "tools". They can tell if a player has what it takes without numbers.

Unbelievable that Marion made it this far, we beat them 24-0 in 2.5 innings at MTSU.

We beat him 7-3 at TCA, scored all of our runs with 2 outs.

Rverside vs TCA round 6, Lady Panthers have won 6-1, 9-2, 4-3, and 10-0. TCA won 4-3.

Problem is, you always have to figure in extra days in case of rain. This year everyone got done on time, some years you barely squeeze'em in.

TCA made a deal, they'll host Westwood. Riverside and TCA should meet for the sixth time Wednesday for the regional title.

TCA eliminated Madison Wednesday 15-0. Riverside beat TCA 10-0 for the championship. GO PANTHERS!

Funny thing is, Riverside has been on the good end of several lopsided scores the last 2 years and our ace hasn't pitched much at all. The biggest problem is the weak single A teams from East Tn. Our 4th and 5th place teams the last couple of years have been harder to beat than some of the East Tn teams. If the level of play gets better across the state, the scores will be more even. Maybe this is the year...

We're in full agreement that Riverside would've won, so was S.H. or they would have played. That doesn't make it a forfeit though, since it made no difference in the standings , it didn't have to be played.

I don't think this was a forfeit, I think it was cancelled and never rescheduled.

The defense is actually a lot better now than earlier in the year. The 2 freshmen have really shored up second base and right field. Team era is 1.09 and team batting average is .361! 27-4 on the season and haven't lost since week 2!

Scotts Hill beat Middleton 11-0 in the play in game today.

This schedule is now official, I'm not sure about days and times except the games at riverside. SG and Madison play saturday at 3, the winner plays Riverside at 5.

This is not official but I think Scotts Hill and Middleton will have a play in game, maybe Thursday. Then the winner will play Adamsville @ TCA probably Saturday, the winner of that game will turn around and play TCA. Madison and SG will play @ Riverside, the winner will then play Riverside. The remainder of the tournament will be at Middleton starting Monday. This is the way some of the coaches think it will be, meeting is Wednesday so we'll know for sure then.

Riverside won the TP classic in Jackson. They beat Covington 6-2, Munford 2-0 and 6-0. Over all in 6 games they outscored oponents 30-3! They went undefeated in district play and haven't lost to a single A team this year. We feel like this is our year to play in the Boro!

Bartlet and Houston are tied for the lead in their AAA district and Riverside sent both packing this week! I feel GOOD about their chances! GO PANTHERS!
