okay. so i believe you are talking about Seay (a junior this year) and Mayes (a senior). Seay has quit, but Amanda Mayes is back after quiting sometime this summer. Doesn't look as if she has lost anything. Tough girl and player. Seems to be back for good.

Hello Jeff County faithfuls! I was wondering if anyone else picked up the Standard today and found something odd!? The coaches of Jeff Co were all listed in the Sports Section, but something, or someone, was missing. The girl's head coach position was marked as open. I was just wanting to get some more information. Have any?

Were their fans offended by the nicknames being called out by the announcer instead of real names? Ex. Dot Elliott, Lauren Sharpie, Laura Pottsey, Chap, etc.

I'd have to agree with you on that Calmdad. I have seen the girls play this year and I saw them play last year. This year it seems they have a better handle on the game and more experience on the court. They should have a good run at the tournament. Hopefully they will bring their A game.
