Harpeth seems to thrive on running the floor. I think that if you can slow the game down they're rythem will be distrupted. Trying to run with them hasn't worked for anyone yet so a change of tempo might help

Sycamore is playing very well right now and if they can force Harpeth into a half court game they have a good chance at beating them. Good luck

Yes, that was me.....Coach has improved alot on that part of his game. People realize that has only been a head coach for 4 years and still has a ways to go but is showing improvement year to year. He has the potential to be a great coach down the road and I hope he attains that title one day. I don't see anything wrong in questioning strategy, sometimes talking about it leads to better things down the road.

Creekwood opened up in the fall of 02 and this is there 4th season plus there is less than 1000 students attendening. No complanining here, it was a great game against Sycamore...Creekwoods poor shooting percentage is the culprit here.

Last nights game was a very bruising game for both sides. The officiating let things get a little out of hand at some points. Even though the calls were questionable it all boils down to the fact CW couldn't get the ball to drop through the bucket. Missed ft's and fg's was the deciding factor. CW did a good job in defending lil E but Sycamore has a strong starting 5 and proved to be too much for the Hawks. One point I would like to make about the Red Hawks is that they are still a young program, only its fourth season. And to have 13 wins so far is something to be very proud of. CW's coach is as dedicated and hardworking as they come. Even though a lot of people question his strategy and toughness (including myself) he has guided his young team to a better record each year and that fact should not be taken lightly. Got to give him credit for that because I imagine there has been a lot of frustration and aggravation establishing a new program, not to mention a great deal of hard work. Good luck at next game..

I would say a lot of people in Cheatam County and Dickson County care about this game........post season positioning are at stake. There are many teams in this state and I am sure that each one has people who care.

Creekwood lost to the War Eagles at home but they are playing some pretty good ball right now (13-6.....5-3 district). Should be an exciting game with Sycamore coming off a huge win against Cheatam. Creekwood will win this one by 6pts I think. Have to have a good post game and play smart on defense..no more silly fouls that have doomed them in some earlier games. There 5 in and 5 out rotation has worked some this year but against John Paul it really backed fired on them. Does any other team sub like that?? Not sure if it is such a good idea when you only have 7 players who can hang with the elite teams. Go Red Hawks!!

This is the Redhawks 4th season and they continue to making strides toward being a contender. They recorded thier 12th win against Farview earlier in the week, which is the most wins in a season so far. They have 4 seniors who have been there since the beginning and and thier point gaurd has been a starter since her freshman year. It has been a struggle for them at times but it always will be when a new school starts up. For this 05-06 season they have really shown how far they have come. With an up tempo game they put a lot of pressure on other teams and have the ability to light up the scoreboard in transition and in a half court situation. They do a 5 and 5 rotation that seems to wear down thier opponents and keep them off gaurd. I have enjoyed watching all the district teams and I am glad that our district is so tough with Harpeth and Cheatam, makes us play hard. Go Hawks.............Fri nite at Pope John Paul..

I guess they do not teach english at harpeth............but they do know how to play basketball...........show a little class and act like you have won before..

Last nights game against local rival dickson county was disappointing to say the least. This team has a lot of talent except in the coachs box. CW started out with four straight wins, the last four they are 1 and 3. Why go away from whats working, maybe its just ego on the coachs part. These girls appear to be afraid to play........being micromanged from the bench never works. For three years they have not been allowed to play thier game, if they try they are quickly benched. How can that inspire your players. The mantra of there is no I in team should apply equally to the coach as well. I have seen a number of these girls spirits broken buy not being supported or encouraged from thier leadership, only ridicule and punishment. A teams actions and heart are a reflection of thier coach, to get respect you need to give it. Not be an egotistical tyrannt. You will never be successful. Remember these are just teenage girls not pros, treat them as such.
