Never fails. Drop off in talent. I will call that bovine manure. I don't think I have ever mentioned play calling. Although from what I have witnessed personally and heard about, it sucked, was boring and had a progressively larger number of staying home. Lots of boo-birds at a game I attended. You'll be lucky to get 2 hundred in a couple of years. That and a 3-7 season combined with a loss to Vol or Central and you will be on here crying for heads. It is coming. But again, to me it is about who is in charge, what is being taught, the examples being set and the atmosphere that prevails.

There will never be any sort of team there until anyone that wore a headset at games this last year is gone. My suggestion is a strong head coach, that actually has some control, be brought in from a long, long way away. For the sake of the kids, fans and school they need to get this done before they start back in the spring. It is not just about the wins/losses, it is about what they are being taught, the atmosphere and the examples being set by these fine leaders.

Why aren't you over there trying to help out the DB peeps wwith a little profiling and physcobabble? Oh I guess that hatred thing only applies if directed to you or your buddies.

Scores are just symptoms and if you want to play profiling and analysis at least follow some basic rules. I guess I look at a bigger picture than you for my motivations. Very little has to do with the wins/losses or who play when and where and very much has to do with the young men and who is leading them. I do not consider that negative at all but am positively sure you wouldn't understand. I am a fan of South but no more than DB and the rest of the area schools. I get to one or two games a year and the Boone/South game was one. Without the blinders and having some background information it was almost too ugly and sad to witness.

There is no dip in talent. You will be hearing that for years to come. Quality coaches and men of character? Is there any coach that is not a quality coach and a man of character? That's what I thought. What flavor koolaid they serving today? Parents: Ask your kids what they learned today? What examples were set for you? How were you treated? Did anyone even act like they cared what you thought? You might be surprised.

The present crop of coaches have assured South will desend into permanent mediocrity. The record says 6-4, but really should have been 4-6. 2 wins were overtime, to a non-playoff team and a 4A Elizabethtown....very lucky. 3 wins over combined 4-26 teams and a 20-7 win over 1A Gate City, VA. If Doyle can stop the dive play and QB keeper that's 80%. (boobirds came out at the last home game over that.) The other 20% are go routes to the left with the QB pulling it down 1/2 the time and sweeping right. Other than the occasional trickery that is it. The corners can be burnt by the strong QB and sweeps opposite #15 can go all night. Quick RBs can run anywhere. Good luck to both teams, but if Doyle wins by 40 or so that koolaid may start tasting a little sour.

Well. 1st South game for me this year and it will be my last. You all still kissing the coaches ..............? Lots of grumbling in the stands tonight. Go figure. A darn shame for the kids and a school that will be shut down soon to finish up like that. South will Never....Never win a big game again.

Cute..Very Cute. I guess you'll still be yuking it up after you all run the program in the ground. With the players that will transfer and the ones that decide to watch the wreck from the stands you will be lucky to even field a team. Sucks for the kids and the school. Obviously you are too dense, naive or too personally involved to see or admit there may be any problems. There is a good chance of changes coming. Changes that will be POSITIVELY POSITVE for the students and the school. I will wait to see how things shake out before I spell it out. Listen Smart ___ I am a fan of a lot of the NET schools. I am concerned for South's program. You enable and support the bad choices made which will become evident to even the densest this season. The sad thing is the kids will have to deal with it and will be held responsible at school, in the community and on here for things out of their control. If you would like to continue, I would be glad to spell out exactly what my concerns are. Your buddies might not like that much.

As a DB fan from afar, I hope no one takes this as anything but constructive critisism. DB Coachs, parents, fans and players need to get that big V for victim and the big E for entitled off their chest. Concentrate on football, one play at a time. Don't get hung up in the V and E as that trickles down to the players and that is what they get in their head. ie After the South game it was 3 days of the refs did this and the fans did that. On here and I'll bet in the locker room, around the kitchen tables etc. Discouragement all around. Football, one play at a time.

Lots of crickets on here.......Well....... I'm sure the coachs have a great plan and have taken the time to develop QB's....RB's....DB's...Lines???????? Come on man.....lay it out.
