Station Camp edged White House at White House tonight in a good game. It got physical and the game got pretty close but SC stretched the lead to about 10 and didnt let them get any closer in the 4th until the game was pretty over in the last minute and gave up some layups. White House's coach killed the spirits of his own team by getting a Technical which was the final dagger in the loss. Good job by SC by playing well on Jamison and also getting down and guarding the rest of the team.

I believe that last comment is somewhat unrealistic. If Goodpasture wouldnt have had their best game of their lives vs. Station Camp then it could easily be the other way around. I don't think that Goodpasture is overrated but I still think that they can be beat. WH almost got them and Station Camp cut it to 8 late in the 4th will them playing their best game of the season. My prediction is that Goodpasture will lose one game in the district.

It is a very big game for both teams...Station Camp will have to match the intensity of White House coming off a heartbreaking loss to win and they also cant let Jamison get off.

haha buddy...Well we have two completely different teams from last year so I believe that it should be a pretty good game. It all depends on the type of team SC sends out. The lazy team (that has been almost nonexistent since the Christmas tourneys) or the team that comes to play. If SC comes to play then look out cause they've been playing real well lately.

The 8AA is pretty split this year. Station Camp and Goodpasture are one and two for the moment but well see how things pan out as the year goes on. How does everything look for everybody?

Take your pick and just give a reason and why.

I dont know about the best cause I havent seen all of these guys play but John Jenkins of Station Camp comes off the bench and leads SC in scoring. He is the most talented freshman Ive seen play and his drive and work ethic reflect on the team. I don't know many people that give a better spark to their team than this guy.

I know a lot of the guys on that team and they are very well coached and have a good all arund game. The question is do they have enough guys? In the box scores I see Hubert and Johnson and then everyone else is around 5 or 6. If they play an athletic disciplined team that can stop those two than will anyone else be able to step up to lead the Mandos. Only time will tell but they are playing good ball right now.

Friday will bring an interesting game in the 8AA. Both of these teams have proved that they have respectable programs. What do you think will be the difference maker in this one?

East Robertson has some athletes and they are a solid team and nothing to be taken lightly. We played them this ummer and we beat them but if you dont come out ready to play then they have a chnace.

I go with Goodpasture because Frey and Greer will matchup and then I dont think GB has any guards to stop Davis and Buchanan. We'll find out though. Anyone can beat on any given night.

Jamison will decide who wins this game...If he's on then GB will have a hard time defending him as he has an inside out game, but if he's off I'm not sure if they have the offensive weapons to beat out GB. Greer will also have to play a role and if he's out on the perimeter I'll give the game to White House cause that is where they'd like him to stay.

Uhhh I think were forgetting two very good rivalries and the first one might be the best...Beech vs. Hendersonville and also Lipscomb vs. Goodpasture...Those games are ALWAYS packed and always finish with a story.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I was in middle school and I remember that game...I was thinking well this is where im goin to be next year. Well that assumption was wrong. Good game by both teams I'm sure. And Im braggin that I had a good prediction.

Station Camp is coming off of two wins versus White House and Portland in the district. How do you think this one will turn out?

I've played against Lipscomb many times and at first I used to say the calls ALWAYS went to them and then I decided to watch some film. Lipscombs kids play SMART defense and make their own breaks. Don't get me wrong the game is decided by the players not by the refs and thats the way it always should be, but for the foul calls Lipscomb is just always in position whether it be in helpside, tough on the ball pressure, or denying a pass. They work hard on D without fouling. I'm no where close to a Lipscomb fan but this is what Ive gathered after playing them for 4 years.

Hendersonville by less than 10

AA basketball is so close in the midsstate its ridiculous. Station Camp beat White House and Lipscomb and Lipscomb has beaten just about everyone else. White House beat HumeFogg who beat Station Camp. Im not sure about Greenbrier though. Haven't been able to see them play yet.

Hey Ticket have you seen GB play? Im just curious cause they are in our district and I hear that they are pretty talented. Let me know yuor thoughts on them.

I just want to see how people think tis district will pan out. I still think it might be too close to tell right now but let me know what you think
