  1. The Indians came back and won 28 - 27 on a last second field goal. This is exactly the kind of win they needed! Way to go Indians! Stay focused and get ready for East Hickman. Can't wait to hear the recap from catfish...er...howdoitknow.
  2. Score is 27 - 19, CC, with 8:56 to go in the 4th.
  3. Score is 7 - 7 at the end of 1st Quarter and CC just intercepted a pass.
  4. Sequatchie, do you realize you defeat your own argument? First you say other players are working out trying to get better (implying they are working some on their own) and then you say Tennessee athletes won't seriously do it. Sounds like the problem is Tennessee athletes and not TSSAA. If a player is a true college/pro prospect, it will be first and foremost because they have SPEED and the right size. They will not get the speed they need in a two week period during the summer from the high school facilities. If they don't have it naturally, they can only make modest improvements, and that would be if they worked seriously hard on their own outside of organized workouts. Second, if they are not dedicated enough to work out on their own during the two weeks, then maybe they shouldn't be/don't deserve to be/will never be a college player. The dead period is a GREAT rule and I personally think the timing is great. Your argument is quite naive and ignorant to say the least!
  5. Ooooops...don't think I was signed in when I tried last time!
  6. Coach T, There is no "Add Games" link anymore. Thanks, Chief Wahoo
  7. Although we only had two wins last year, we could have easily won several more last year (West Creek, Cheatham Co., E. Hickman, Stewart Co., Waverly) in games we lost. BUT, we didn't win them. I think that is a big part of what our guys have to learn to do to get to the next level...how to win in the 4th Quarter. And with the coaching changes, I think we now have a staff who will get that accomplished. All it takes is one close win that is pulled out in the 4th quarter to get them over the hump. They do that and the wins could easily jump to 7 or 8. I also want to give kudos to our Athletic Director, Brett Burchwell, for working diligently in putting together a quality coaching staff and one that has a presence at the school. That makes a HUGE difference with the boys.
