I agree. I was so very impressed with the Mavericks! More importantly before time ran out the mavericks were driving again and that shows me the Mavericks just do not give up!

I will say this "I am so proud of the Mavericks they played there heart out" Powell was/is a very good team. Best of Luck to Powell. The Mavericks have now showed they can play with anyone when they come ready to play.

Well it has been a good season for the Mavericks two times in the playoffs for Coach Gillum,Price and the staff. It has been fun, ScoreAtwill! Good luck to Powell and we are behind you. Great season Mavericks! You played your heart's out. Let no team (Powell) take that from you. Get ready for next year and remember "You can do all things through Christ"! Go Mavericks!!!!

I agree Panther; Powell could roll but you are dealing with Gillum, Price and an impressive coaching staff if they do not have the answer for Powell on Friday night then I confidently will say no one will!

The Mavericks better not take anything for granted! Whither the suspended player plays or not. Whither he dresses out for show or play. If he plays they better be ready to go with the orange car-dish if not then blue card. Legally I would think he would have to be on a roster at some point this week. This would not seem legally fair to the Mavericks, if not. Of course that is why I am not a lawyer. LOL Bottom line is they really need to use the unorthodox offense that they have been planing since Powell's first game. They know this will work and if not they can revert !!

Most of the middle Tennessee teams are down. I cannot think of any of them beating Anderson County or Powell. This game this week could very well decide who wins the state! "Lets Get It On"

I am going out on a limb. I think Morristown East has the ability to win this game. Not because Powell is missing a player but because Morristown East is a good team and they do not quit. Plus they are hungry too. They would very much like to get a rematch with either Anderson County or cross-town Rival Morristown West of which both games were close. A message to Morristown East: Beware of scoreatwill. He has and will be scouting you all week. He is a professional and knows what he is doing. So try and come up with something different or at least close your gates when you practice. LOL I am so serious!!!! Morristown East in the Upset of the Year 28-21!

Hey guys Scoreatwill stinks he is a scoundrel but he just very well might know what he is talking about. Trust me I learned the hard way. LOL At any-rate what ever that has happened the school and coaching staff have taken a zero tolerance for some qualified reason. I am sure we all have made mistakes in our life and this young man will pull through this and be a better person; after all, mistakes if corrected, will make anyone a better citizen. My prayers for this young man and his family!

From what I can tell they are much like Morristown East and play like Oak Ridge and Hardin Valley. They are very balanced lean much more toward the run but the past recent games have shown more passing. AC will have to be ready.

Thanks Man! We hope this will be the year. The defense has really grown up too! The running game now gives the defense a break. AC goes both ways with players and that is not what they want to do. Now with the running it will give some players a break. Hey you know the those Dragons will be back next year!

I agree I would not have that job for nothing. You cannot make everyone happy. But you just have to wonder sometimes how in the world do they come up with what they do. I guess you have to be there to really know what they have to go through! LOL
