I wonder what has happened to this board. Boone and South play this week and there hasn't even been a thread started. 3-4 years ago it would be 7-8 pages by now. Maybe the South fans have lost intrest, don't like their coach, don't like their team or something but they are fighting for a playoff spot. Boone has some injuries and had a good one removed from the team, so it should be a good game down to the wire.

I don't think you will see very competitive football next Friday.

He is still reeling from the Boone thrashing. No problems for you guys again this week. TH is small and any pressure on the QB and the ball will be up for grabs.

I read on another site that Foreman had been offered by Kentucky. Maybe the d-b fans can chime in and let us know the truth. In my opinion he could easily turn into another Cobb.

I believe I hit everyone right except the last one. JJ called a terrible offensive ball game the first half. I bragged on him all week and he got pass happy. Toppers you have a good looking football team but somebody needs to teach your d-lineman to play with leverage because they stand straight up when the ball is snapped. As far as the officials go they were horrible but at lest they were horrible both ways. 24 flags?

So the SH fan base is a bunch of frontrunners that only support their program when they are winning. Sounds about right. It's good to see you can make a good post, maybe during all of the others you were out of breath and lightheaded from blowing your horn too much?

You might want to go practice the tuba some more and put the calc. down. Stats are overrated when measuring a defense. You guys have allowed 106 pts but how many of those came in garbage time on the 2nd and third teamers? What about turnovers giving teams a short field, etc... there is too many factors invloved to strictly look at total points allowed. The only stat that matters is W-L.

Both good coaches but I think Boone has the definite edge in this department.

I never for any reason would of thought I would pull for Knox Cent. but call me a Bobcats fan!!

Maybe the SH folks have not seen them play but what I saw them do to a pretty good Boone defense was amazing. It takes so much more than speed and quickness to get to the level they are at. It is really fun to watch as long as it is not your team getting hammered.

Is this a football message board or a track message board. Is the Boone track team and SH track team running Friday night or are the Football teams playing. That is the point.

He is not as good as they are. They are better football players right now then he is. There seniors and are stronger than he is. They play in a system that allows them to touch the ball alot more than he does, thereby creating more of an impact on the game. They have been coached better than he has. For you guys to compare anything you have to the d-b program is quite laughable. At least we have beat them in the last 5 years, what has it been for you guys 20 or 25 years? Is that complex enough for you?

Your giving SH to much credit. There good but not in Swofford and Foreman's league.

The key to the game will be containing Reed Hayes. I worry more about his feet than I do his arm. I think we will be able to get a rush but if we cannot conrtain he will burn us with some runs and being able to extend plays. We need to keep the big plays and easy scores to a minimum and we have a chance.

Lucky?? Whats lucky about dominating the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, getting a pash rush with 3 or 4 guys and letting your DBs be able to break on balls. I call that being better prepared and wanting it more. Those boys deserve all of the credit and there was no luck involved.

Does Coach Boggs not believe in the run game? How many picks does a QB have to throw before he will hand it off?
