I see stupid shows up in another Boone thread. Only an internet POS questions a kids heart that works his tail off all week at practice and then lays it on the line on Friday nights. Why don't you root for another team, I'm sure these other fan bases would love a winner like you pulling for their team.

I'm not beating my chest at all. I know what we are in for next week, Greeneville is easily the best team around here. I'm just saying there is a lot of pride in the Boone program and they will know they played in a real football game not a glorified scrimmage. As far as making history we are like 10-3 all time against DB so its no surprise to us that we play them well.

what's embarrassing about it? Greeneville has a very good football team and will win going away next week but I promise you they will know they were in a game next week.

TH has definitely been the biggest disappointment this year. Surprising to see South and Betsy run all over you guys like they did. Your catching SH at the right time so you may get lucky.

What are you talking about? I'm a Boone fan and Cap1 is a TH fan. You might want to take a little less time making predictions and a little more time reading what people write.

I know what you meant and that's why I called you stupid. Boone's inability to be consistent running the ball is their biggest problem. Losing their o-line coach a week before practice started has hurt them. Throw in the very tough schedule (non-conference games Elizabethton, South, and Greeneville) while there all up and DB, SH, and TH and that leaves you very small room for error. I think Boone's defense keeps them in the game but DB scores a couple late. 35-17

Crockett came out fired up and ready to play but Bonne's biggest problem is playmakers. The QB cannot throw it very good and if he could there really isn't anybody to catch it. The Bacon kid is a good back but that looks to be all they have.

TH did look very good. Very fast- In order to beat SH and DB they will need to develop a running game. They didn't have much of one against Volunteer but they also did not have to. I would rank them as follows DB/SH/TH (any one of these could win the conference) Pretty steep drop from the top 3 teams then Volunteer Crockett Boone Then Central. TSSAA should be run out of town for not letting them play down

This is going to be a good rivalry for the next few years.

congrats to the vikes on a well deserved win. It was a miror image of the frst game except boone made all of the mistakes. TH controlled the line of scrimmage and won the game fair and square. Our coach forgot to run the ball and called a terrible game. Littleton will be seeing mitchell in his nightmares tonight. Good Luck TH and rep the Big 8 well next week.

Would somebody stock the DB locker room with a bunch of Red Bull so GC doesn't fall asleep after halftime tonight. You guys are due to win one of these games.

If the D-line that showed up for SH against DB shows up tonight then SH has a good chance to win this game. If the D-line that showed up the rest of the year shows up then SH loses by 2 TD's. I'm pulling for the local guys but I'm afraid they left it all out on the field last week. I hope you prove me wrong. OR 38- SH-28

DB 91 and spear prove my point, You guys are on edge and totally took my post the wrong way. I'm not trying to hate on DB I'm pulling for you. I honestly DON'T think there is any way this DB team loses in the first round. That SH game and the way you came back was the best thing that could have happend to this team. If things don't go perfectly the players will have that belief that they can get it done. You guys need to relax and enjoy ride it will be a good one.

You can always tell when it is playoff time the tribe faithful start getting a little testy. Is there any chance this team could be a 1 and done?

If you kept trying to win and you are not worried about point spreads then why all of the crying over SC scoring on you with 40 sec. to go? Having a fast paced, high scoring offense is great but we all know defense wins championships. I like my defense in this one.
