I've watched Camden twice this year, both close games. Each time #33 became the work horse in the game. He is really good, so even if you know it's coming it still isn't easy to stop.
Technically, Waverly did turn it over twice without Fairview players touching them, but that doesn't matter. Fairview still had to win the fight in the pile to get the ball.
Fairview's red zone defense was the biggest difference in the game last night. I think they forced 3 turnovers inside their own 10. Congrats and good luck next week.
It appears the official bracket has been posted. It showed Quad 4 as:
1. Camden vs
8. Lewis County
4.Westview vs.
5. Milan
3. Manassas vs.
6. Hickman County
2. Wavery
7. Fairley
Fairview is a 5 seed playing at 4. Westmoreland in Quad 3.
Creekwood is a 5 seed playing 4. White House in 4A.
Looking at the brackets, man Camden's 2nd round game if they advance is going to be a slugfest regardless of which team they get. Quad 4 looks like it has about 5-6 teams who could win it.
I've read where the Zimmerman kid has played with a broken finger/hand? to start the year, then sprained his MCL, and also has to have surgery on his elbow after the year. If all of that is true, that is impressive. The kid is definitely a gamer.
