I remember two seasons ago when the series first started everyone was talking about how polk couldn't stop the speed of south pitt and how slow polk is. Well they sure have shut that up. Anyway, now to the game. I think south pitt will keep it close but polks running game will tire out south pitts defense towards the end of the game and break this one open. Very well said. If polk has a good game in the secondary they should come out with a victory but that will be very tough. Take the chatt christian game for instance, yes polk had some injuries but the secondary did not play very well. But I think Coach Davis will come up with a defense that will compete better then they did against chatt christian. With that being said, polk will have to take another trip to knox next week to take on top rank alcoa. Polk wins a close one with a late interception by Allen. Just because the names are big don't mean the team is good. Take ooltewah for instance. This years ooltewah team was awful. They squeeked by walker valley ,the same walker valley team that polk could had put up 80 on. They was scared to death of polks running game. And i'm pretty sure polk could beat ooltewah by as many as they wanted to. So don't let the name fool ya.

I remember the last time polk played tyner. It was a very good game but tyner had some good goal line stands to beat polk. But that was 2005 and these wildcats are a whole different bunch and alot more talented and athletic then back in the day. So i see polk winning this one fairly easy. Ok, South Pitt might be a 1A team but they don't have 1A talent. And why? That's because of their coaching staff. I don't know how they get all that talent. I heard they recrute a little but that's all speculation. These South Pitt teams can play some football and they could play with and beat about every 3A team accept for Alcoa and i do think they should move up. Now to the game last year. Polk came out and just laid it to them and it took a little while for them to recuperate. I don't see Polk doing that this year but i do see this happening. South Pitt is not going to be able to slow down Polks running game because we have some absolute beasts in the back field. If yall South Pitt fans thought our full back was good last year, just wait until you see Mr.Saxe (#39) run behind Polks line(#'s 73,77,51,55,64) and that line is probably the best line polk has had since 2006. And that line also protects the best qb(#12) Polk has ever had. On the other side of the ball at middle line backer is Michael Hargove (#38). Remember that name South Pitt fans because he will be in the back field all night long!! And those South Pitt players better gang tackle because it will take about three or four to tackle polks players. Also, all that speed South Pitt fans has been talking about, well it's there but they haven't been hit like Polk will hit them.. and yes they will get hit. South Pitt will get some big plays through the air, but it wont be as many as they got against Signal Mountain. This game will be close but Polk will come out with a W against that little 1A team as South Pitt fans will say after the game friday. Man i can't wait until this game!!! Good luck to both teams. Dude all i'm saying is that jared allen could have huge stats throwing the ball if he was in a different type of offense but thats not polk. Polk is a tough physical running team that struggles against teams that are just like them, for instance loudon. And another thing, I did not say anything about them throwing the ball last week thats something you just made up.

Who needs to throw?? How about polk county. When you play a good team they will take your strength away. Polk can run all up and down any team in their division but when you get into the playoffs what happens?? A team will beat polk because they're one dimensional. I'm an ex wildcat and a huge polk fan and I would love if polk could win every game by just running it but that don't happen. "So who needs to throw". What a dumb question!! This will be one heck of a game! But I think loudon has an edge because of their schedule. I'm not saying bradley has a week schedule by no means but loudon plays teams like alcoa,cak, and kingston.
