If he promotes a positve attitude and is so great in tthe community, why does he allow his kids to refuse to shake the hands of African American kids after games?

Heard ND tried to play everyone back and win on PKs against CPA. Was this correct? Thought they only attacked on the offensive end and played standard defence.

As long as they pay the price for addmission, I guess they can show their lack of knowledge of the game just like you can show your extensive knowledge of the game. But, if you don't want the money of the ignorant fans, I guess you could give them a quick test to see if they are worthy of addmission. Here at Coffee we don't have much of a problem with that until Cookeville comes to town.

The boys read this. They are working hard to improve as well as the coaches. Please do not degrade them. I don't think any of the girl's soccer players could kick the ball any deeper on kick offs. If any band members can help the team, then come on out and play. They will improve and compete. 75% of the team are underclassmen, 14-15 year olds. Some kids that played last year did not play this year but many more kids are playing now last year. Interest in the program is increasing at school. It is a process that will improve over the next few years if they stay the course. Most of the people who post negative things on this board never played anyway. We can compete in 6aaa, it may take another year or two but they will.

By the way, are the CC players in the dougout still yelling when the other team's pitcher releases the ball or are the JV players just standing on the outfield fence yelling at the opposing outfielders? Don't know much about this situation or Cookeville players as a whole, but CC has to have the biggest sore losers in the district. Fans complain and players pout when things do not go their way. Just ask some of the other teams they play like Tullahoma or Shelbyville!

govols101, I must agree with several other posters, you are an idiot. I guess you were not a player since your 3 friends got a D1 scholly but you did not! Since you were not a player by your definition, how can you judge these other kids. I think any kid who starts practice the first of June, gives his all through out the summer, all the daily practices, is a player even if he never gets to suit up for varsity.
