Spitt runs the table next year...I said it months ago they were really a year away...It was impressive for me to see this SP team play as well as they did last night. I don't ride the coattails of SP coaches by no means but they had the team ready. Not sure where that's been all year but they were very impressive last night especially on defense...Next year IF these two teams play it won't be close

What are you talking about? I'm from SP and a SP fan. Everyone knows that and yeah I call out SP's shortcomings and when I think they should win or lose. I could careless about Gordonsville if they win anymore games or not..You obviously didnt grade well in school. SP had more yards, penalties, turnovers and a T'D called back...Your statement about SP just getting beat... Most on here agree we just got beat against Boyd and Knox Grace...This was a different game though..SP Defense had much more impressive stops throughout and If u really know football you could tell SP had the Gmen schemed up pretty well... I do however gotta give credit when it's due...First apologies for doubting SP's heart...Man you played HARD! First time in years I've seen SP team be that physical...I wasn't impressed with Gmens ability to wit X's and O's and SP flatout looked like the better prepared team but just came up inches short....Reoccurring theme for the Pirates in close ones but I guess your bound to lose alot of close big games when your consistently in the big games....The Gmen did what they had to do to get the W and took SP's best shot....TrainTracks says congrats to the Gmen! IF IF IF IF Pickett wasn't behind Moore for 3 years....IF Moore hadn't played QB his first two years...IF D Jones played in the spread like Raques...IF Macho Green had played wing in our offense now...IF is exactly that.....Many could have that never even suited up for SP....Marcus Reynolds was a beast and IF he had played TB under Wilson or Grider in the Power I....IF Patrick Pitts hasn't pulled same thing Walker did...Zelmer Chubb IF he had played as a SR....IF Roy Dillard wore ankle weights like he tells everyone else too he could've been the best....IF just doesn't count....SP has had MANY greats some that could've and some that should've but the measuring stick is still E Moore......I will say since SP has never thrown the ball much Lil Man will go down as probably the best All Purpose Back that's ever played...His Legacy though much like the article says is how you play in the big games....While his mark has been made...People remember the playoffs more than anything else....Tonight is his playground and his chance to cement his legacy. They will need him to be a BEAST and have a monster game to score the upset against the machine known as The Gmen....That is all

Hate to break it to you but that's half SP's problem is they want to bounce everything outside like they are playing Whitwell! Against good teams you have to take what they give you and take those 3-4 yards instead of thinking ur in pee wee's again......All the big games this has been the case over and over....SP just doesn't learn well...Who knows maybe they will change this week but I'm willing to beat there is atleast 3-4 plays SP has a chance to get good yards and they try to bounce it and get thrown for a loss....If you go to the game get back on here afterwards and tell me in wrong

This is one thing that some don't mention and that is does this bunch really even want this game? In all seriousness is it possibly since these SR's and JR's have always made state that they are satisfied with what they have already accomplished? Maybe that explains why there hasn't been much improve all year. Maybe that's why they keep losing because of stupid stuff. I have no clue.....Maybe someone that's been to every game can answer that question but someone mentioned there has been only a few times this team has shown emotion during a game this year.
