  1. https://twitter.com/SCHSbitch Please reference above before making comments about players responding to taunting from fans during a game. Good luck in the first round.
  2. Adults calling kids out individually is way out of line, but the comment about #5 is laughable. He isn’t my son, but I’ve known him since he started at QB as a pee-wee. He’s one of the sweetest, most polite kids you’d ever want to meet. If he was talking trash, you can bet it was just in reply to what he was hearing from the other side. Caine runs a quality, well-disciplined program (as you should know). That type of behavior isn’t tolerated by the coaching staff or administration in Baxter. You have a great team and should be proud, but talking crap about the kids on the other team just because you lost shows a lack of character. I do believe that’s what you said about York and their complaints when you beat them...
  3. Nobody will argue that Donovan and Blake are special players. They also has a stable of receivers, a strong O-line and the UHS defense with players like Bryant, Dutchess, Ford, Estrada and Stewart, have been strong all year. The weather was nasty on both sides of the ball - and the stats will show that if anyone wanted to complain about the refs, it should have been the Bees. That being said, the Indians always have a great program and no one ever steps foot on the field with them without respect for their team, coaches and special athletes. Last night, Upperman had the better team. I suspect it won’t always be that way. Much luck to the Indians for the rest of the 2018 season.
  4. Whistle Stop in downtown Baxter has good food.
  5. I'm thinking a loss to Upperman, a first round win and a loss to Red Bank in round two? That would make 2 out of 3...
  6. I’ve heard what York thinks - but that leaves several other common opponents. It all goes out the window at game time Friday night - both teams will bring all they’ve got every down. Forecast says rain - how does a wet field and/or rain impact the game? Sure - Caine knows most of the players at his old school but the coaches there also know a lot about him and how he thinks. That goes both ways I would think.
  7. At this point, they’ve each played every other team in the region. It would be interesting to hear opinions of fans from those schools as to how they compare.
  8. The roster says #8 and #9 are both seniors, but that doesn't make honoring someone who did something like that in front a crowd that potentially included the victim and his family okay. No way the coaches didn't know and should have absolutely been shut down immediately as soon as they saw it if they didn't know.
