The vikings normally go on defense first and get the ball after half time.. so i say TCA plays them 14 - 14 untill the half, then HBT comes out and has a 7 or 8 min drive like last week and takes the ball game over to win 35 - 21.. The D must bring the pressure & the DB's will have to show up and cover, if they can pick him a time or two don't be suprised if they take it to the house, the vikings have athletes everywhere, even the D Linemen can take it back! Just ask adamsville.

I look for Humboldt to win this one. The Vikings will spread Adamsville out, get around the edges and get up the field. The Cards will try to pound it up the middle but those of you who have followed the Vikings this year know that every team has had trouble running up the middle on the vikings this season. This is the weakest Quad imo, but I think TCA & Humboldt are two very dangerous teams capable of making big playoff runs on the shoulders of Washington (TCA) or Campbell (HBT).What do you guys think?

Humboldt has had an impressive year so far.. they can finish the season 7-3 with a win next friday night. The Vikings are surely playoff bound with home field advantage looming.. any thoughts on this upcoming game with Halls or the upcoming playoff push?

You obviously have never lived in Humboldt. I grew up there in the 90's. The city hasn't really changed much since then.. but the whole "Medina" thing is what really took alot of kids out of the school system. Humboldt fans are the type that will show for a big game in ex. Milan it was packed.. but when teams like South Ful. or Halls come to town no one will show outside of family, students & the few die heart fans.. but you need to understand that quite a few kids on this team have different family situations than normal.. so do us all a favor and lay off the crowd mess if they show they show but if they dont they dont.. either way the game will still go on i dont believe crowd is a big factor in these small class west tn high school football games.

Humboldt will be faster than South Fulton no doubt.. but the question for Humboldt is up front on the o line.They will have to move out SF's big bodys to open lanes for Campbell and company..if that happens look out! cause it might get ugly. This one will all come down to if Humboldt can stop SF's run or if SF can stop Humboldt's run. If SF can stop Campbell and company they will be able to give Humboldt a game but if Humboldt's o line comes out and gets the job done you will see all of Humboldt's speed and it will be a loooong night for the SF Red Devils. Kickoff just a few hours away... it's been raining so it might get sloppy but i look for this to be a good one! as it always is when these to meet or the 1st half is anyway.

Humboldt will not make as many "mistakes" as you guys seem to think. The vikings are definatly the better team by alot in my book and I think the final score will show that at the end of the game tonight!

I'm looking forward to this one tomorrow night but wish i could make it out there but Lake Co. is just way tooo far of a drive for me! lol. I think it will be a good game..close in the first quarter maybe, but I just don't see LC hanging with HBT.. the vikings have too many weapons! Campbell will go for LARGE numbers tomorrow night mark my words! after being pinned up by Henry Co. last week that kid will be more than ready to take a couple to the house! I have this feeling the Humboldt D will be ready to show out tomorrow night! after being punched in the mouth in last weeks game.. i gotta feelin they are ready to deliver some punishment of their own! I'm really looking forward to the out come of this one. I think this will be a definite test for Milan as Westview seems to be on top of their game this season. I think we will all see if this Milan team is up to the standard of those Bulldog teams of the past few years. I'll say this will be a close one but with Milan's defense being so good I'll have to take them. Milan 17 Westview 7

Humboldt has had two great games so far this season, the jamboree in Dyersburg, and pounding a less than stellar Gibson Co. team. But last week they had a game they really had no business playing. Henry Co. being a 5A school and Humboldt barley being a 2A school.. HC had around 90 dressed players & Humboldt had what looked like a little over 30.. and you just can't really win when your out manned that bad. Lake Co. has played two of the worst teams in this area so far this season and I don't really think they will be able to adjust to the difference from the Fulton teams. From what I've seen in Humboldt this year they have speed on offense but they really aren't sure what they wanna do yet but I figure the Coaches over there will get it figured out. As for the Defense, they've shown flashes of being a good defensive squad but what I've noticed is the front 7 seem to get tired in the later part of the game and start missing tackles, over perusing, or in Henry Co.'s case flat out gettin dominated! But I don't look for Lake Co. to cause them that much trouble, no more than Gibson Co. did. All in all Humboldt looks like a good football team.. and I'll be keeping my eye on them this season.
