I never said they were or were not SEC material....I simply said they may have the opportunity to play somewhere after high school and that being on ESPNU would gain them some exposure. And alot of people may think that they are over-rated but I was just commenting on the jab about the parents having the means and influence. Over-rated or not I hope both teams have a good year.

Both Bradley and Cleveland have some quality athletes that could do well after high school. So influenced or not, it is a good opportunity for them to be seen. Dont hate so much on those parents with the means and influence that you take away from the athletes.

Not sure. Its just what they have decided. I would guess the rivalry between the two. Plus both teams have some really good athletes that could potentially further their football careers in college so maybe that was a way for everyone to see both teams at one time.

Wow looks like someone has been burned by Cleveland before. Clearly you need to get a job with the TSSAA and go fix this problem. You need to make it your personal duty to "kick up a little dust" about Cleveland. As far as them getting away with it in several other sports, this is a football thread so go on over to the other threads and kick up some dust over there. Your right the kids, coaches, and families knew what they were doing and the TSSAA said that they were legal in their actions. Probably 40 to 50% of our coaches dont even live in Cleveland so it would be hard for them to house them there. Slaughter, make sure your transfers for next year have a good set up!!

Ok if you are going to point the finger at Cleveland in this article you need to mention the other schools that it mentions that have had transfers come in. And make sure you look up the 547 cases of transfers in TN and talk about them too.

Yes I understand its personal with the kids that transfered so let the kids do the trash talking. The point I'm trying to make is that you guys can be a little more mature than getting on here and trash talking high school kids. As far as the way Slaughter left im sure it did make alot of kids and parents upset but personally I think he was looking out for his own kids. Dont get mad its just a personal statment. And as far as talking about next year....thats just a part of football.....surely you know this. Like I said Good luck to the Soddy and Bradley boys. I hope they play well.

First off I have never offered an excuse for any of our losses. A L is a L despite what many say, i.e. our team is better, your bunch is overrated, blah blah blah. But if your looking for an excuse I will give you this: Our special teams killed us. My question to you is: why is it that you have nothing better to do that bash kids? Did you not make the team when you were younger, was someone mean to you, you were supposed to play but the coach played someone worse? Someone needs to grow up and get a life and cheer his own team on instead of worrying about Cleveland. We are done for this year but dont worry we will see you next year and we will be wearing our district champs shirts the whole way. Aside from your sorry A.....I do wish your young men all the luck in the world. I know a lot of them and they are outstanding kids.

I think what was said was that we "heard" your team was known for hitting cheap shots and it threw the LC fans in a whirlwind. Crying about how the boys had matured and they didnt do that this year. So when you defend your team its ok? But when we do its crying. Wrong.....clearly your a fan who supports your team and thats a good thing. But so are we. So get over it. Apparently, you are not seeing the difference. Its really not that complicated but I will make it a little more easy to understand. The 2 above statements from the Cleveland people are saying the (1) they heard your boys cheap shot, and (2) telling our boys to hurry up and get up so that they dont get hit late. Neither one of these are directly pointed at one of your players and saying that we hope our boys hurt yours. Your statement on the other hand was directly pointed at trying to reinjure one of our players. Can you conprehend that?? Probably not. P.S. you didnt offend me....it will take alot more people than you to offend me. Just trying to show you the difference in talking crap and classless. Sorry if you cant take it. Oh and I am all for a little trash talking as long as you keep the kids names out of your mouth. It makes the game better for those of us who cant actually get on the field and hit someone.

I would have to say if there is any pinching and poking I would hope the LCHS boys are smart enough to go after Voytik's index finger!! Your above statement is the reason I called you cheap and classless. I am sure it was one of my buddies that started the mud slinging but I assure you it was not Voytik. You know, our QB, the one you want you LCHS boys to go after. It would be a little different if he was on here calling you cheap but he isn't. And yeah we didn't win an individual award because we are a good team as a whole. We don't need individual awards when we take the big trophy. Its hard for others to like us when we are number one.

The one wing T offense we saw this year didnt score a point on us. You may score a point but its not going to be as much as you think!

Hey Rhea County guys, How is the young man and his father we were discussing earlier in the season? Has his situation improved any? Sorry I know this is not pertaining to the game but I was just wondering.
