There is a coordinator from Cleveland that interviewed yesterday and a person on staff that interviewed today. Something that could also play into this is that the principal just announced his retirement so there are going to be some admin changes as well.

Anyone heard who is in the running for this job?

Lost a lot last year and they have played some very good teams so far too. Just need to rebuild.

I think there are a couple valid reason he went for 2. 1st our kicker has missed about 70% of his pat's this year. Although he has improved over this season, I'm not sure I would have went that way either. Second, we have lived on our o-line and run game all year and for the most part, it has worked for us. The bottom line is if we had went for 1 and it was blocked(again), people would have said that was the wrong decision too. Fitzgerald and his staff have made great strides as far as the Hixson program is concerned. I think they have things going in the right direction. I wish them all the luck for the years to come.

Actually that was not the incident that I was talking about but it is a good example. And our coach did go to our boy and then backed away so that the trainer could tend to him. I apologize if obscenities we yelled, it is not characteristic of all of us. As I am sure several things tonight are not typically characteristic of ND fans. I simply stated that I was disappointed in my only time that I have ever been there. Good luck to your boys.

Thank you TigersVoice! I think the school is taking a Party Bus for the students who are able to come so that will be better than having a ton of cars driving. I will be pulling for you guys in any other game but this one(considering I was born and raised and graduated from Dekalb its the least I can do) This program has really turned around since I graduated and I am proud of the players, coaches, school and community! Lord knows Dekalb needs something positive in the community! Having said that GO HIXSON WILDCATS!

I never said anything about running the score up late in the game. Someone made the comment that Dekalb has been winning their games by a bigger margin than Hixson and I simply stated that alot of the starters were still in the game late in the 3rd quarter and going into the 4th and that there was several pass plays called. Thats kindof like having a big lead in baseball and still bunting and stealing bases. Having said that Dekalb has a good team and it should be a good matchup on Friday. Hixson has some coaches that came in this year and seem to have the program on the right track and hopefully in the future they will have a strong program.

Really? at the end of the 3rd quarter against white county there was a pass play for about 25 yards and a touchdown.

Here's my homework: Dekalb vs. White co: Starters - 64,50,52,18,23,80,16,1,43,73,93,9 With 4 mins left in the 3rd quarter and at a score of 44-7 these same boys were still playing Dekalb vs. Warren co: Starters - 1, 50, 3,45,23,16,73,18 with 3 mins left in the 3rd quarter and a score of 50-0 these same boys were still playing This was provided by your own film and by the picture timeline on your own Tiger football website so I guess it proves my point.

Dont worry....I did my homework. I dont expect people from there to get on here and admit to it. And I dont have anything against Dekalb but I do see being merciful on people that you are beating to a pulp. When the score gets to a certain point it should turn into a run game.
