The Troll thinks them NashVegas fellers ought to reshuffle 6AA and 7AA, but they'll probly just stick us in 7AA to start.

Them's two good districts, with 7 teams each and equal splits 3A/4A. Some good district rivalries, too.

Still like to see the SM/SP game continue. Can't leave it at 1-1.

Sounds like SM will be in good shape for a while to come. Troll these boards are pretty idle on the plus side. TC has 1 more game @ cornerstone and then we play Livingston in a championship game.

The Troll just run across this MS forum, and don't think there's any Plus members on the Mountain. The SMMHS website don't list Price as the MS football coach, some guy named Gordon; but from yer comments, the Troll's gonna be lookin' into that. I didn't see any of the MS games this year, and I can't even find the scores listed anywhere.

Is the season over? SMMHS website only lists games thru 9/28.

The Troll's gonna have to look into this MS mess.

Good to hear yur young fellers is keepin' up the tradition. The Troll ain't got no CoachT Plus members up here on the Mountain to talk with on here. Just found the MS forum myself.

Our young Eagles is doing quite well themselves. Middle School looks good, and our JV as been shuttin' out everbody with big numbers. JV Signal vs. South Pitt got cancelled, and I haven't been able to git the reason. I can guess, though. :roflolk:

Hope more of our kids stay on the Mountain in the future. Several of our young men are currently competing for Baylor and McCallie. My FSSAA's (Future Skillet Slingers Association of America) went to the girls private school in town, and they transfered up here when the high school opened two years ago. If we keep most of the young lads on the Moutain, we should be a powerhouse in 3A/4A in a few years.

Ok thanks. And is Huntingdon the only 1a team in the district that has a chance to make the play offs? I heard someon from Bruceton saying they could possibly get in. I dont see how they could if Huntingdon cant since Huntingdon beat them.

Like I said, Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early for anybody to be talkin' playoffs 'less you's undefeated and got yer district locked up. Even though we all talk this stuff. Too many variables. Play one game at a time, and WIN! That's what gits you to the playoffs.

I'm wanting a little explanation on the play offs so i figured i'd ask in this forum... What teams out of this district will most likely make it in 1a?

Huntington probably locks up 2nd place in the district and an automatic playoff spot if they beat Dresden. If Dresden wins, Huntington could possibly get a wildcard spot if they have an overall winning record for the season. Still early in the season. Anything's possible.

Anyone notice that Chatt. Grace was in quad 1 on the T$$AA web site,and Boyd in 2 but both in the same district.

I know it's early, and these ain't gonna be the final 24 teams, but as this list and map changes weekly, we will git some insight into how them NashVegas fellas think when they start drawin' quads.

In yur example, only had 5 teams in the NE, so had to pull another from somewhere. By taking the lowest seeded Chattanooga team, figger that team would travel north one time, then be out. If they'd picked SM or Boyd, would've been a lot of travelin' goin' on.

In this case, I would of rather seen five teams in the NE, with three first round byes, and seven teams in the SE with only one first round bye.

The ole MountainTroll don't mean to be buttin' in, but it'd be nice to read a few positive comments.

The Troll follows both of yer teams, and there's lots of good things to say about both. The Troll's even talked up them Cougars on other threads. Both of ya have pretty muffin schedules, 'cept one or two games; so does my team. Both of ya will make the playoffs, but we'll all get to see what yer made of before then. Polk vs SP and CB vs Boyd.

Don't know as much 'bout the Wildcats, but the Troll thinks the Cougars are gonna sprise them Buccaneers.

It would be nice to see a Battle 'Tween the Hatfield's and McCoy's. It'd be ugly some years, but a good game.
