  2. Had to widen it to try and make the games more competitive. Especially after the the shalacking the tornadoes put on the alter boys last year!
  3. That Billy Williams catch to put ALCOA in scoring position to win the game was incredible! Not sure if Kingston would have beat Brentwood Academy had they won against ALCOA though.I think ALCOA was focused on BA after losing to them the previous year.I think Kingston would've made a game of it though.
  4. They said after they add the sand and pellets it would darken the Maroon!
  5. First off,the Daily Times is not ALCOA's home town paper. Its Maryvilles home town paper . Secondly. If you believe anything that rag says, then you'll believe anything. You also take a lot of liberties and conjecture with your adding and multiplying. Getting that rear end kicked must do something to those brains out west also! LOL
  6. Like I said. If you are a private school and you don't like the multiplier, then there is a place for you and thats where you should play. Go play in division ll. If your a school that doesn't have open enrollment then change the laws in your area. ALCOA (as far as I know, and at least since 1977) has always had open enrollment to "any" kid who wants to attend ALCOA. Before ALCOA started beating the crap out of most schools in the area and all the west tn teams,it never seemed to come up. So whats really bugging you guys? Getting beat!!
  7. For all the people who support private schools but don't like the multiplier,or think its unfair. There is a place that you can feel at home. Its called division ll. You even have a choice. You can play with no scholarship players and go play webb every year,or you can go with giving out scholarships and buy yourself a private gold ball. ALCOA is not the only school who lets students have the freedom of choice of where they would like to attend school. ALCOA has to charge them something to attend the school, because their parents do not pay city taxes. I pay both city and county taxes every year, but I live in the city. Since I pay both county and city taxes that are both equal each year. That means that I can send my kid to any county school I want too, even though I live in the city. Correct? Why can't kids go to the school they want and let their parents pay those taxes that they would pay as if they lived there. For those about to bark out that ALCOA recruits those players and pays their tuition. I say go prove it,or shut up!
  8. ssshhhh......we gonna show them "that" next year!! Yep we after next years gold ball too......and the next and so forth. Well, you get the picture!
  9. This is what milan, and goodpasture has been saying for the past decade. Just about word for word. LOL

  11. or,melted down at the old pot rooms and made into can sheet!
  12. If the weather is as bad as predicted,I think that favors the team with the best defense.Either way Alcoa wins. Alcoa with bad conditions 28-7. Alcoa with good conditions 42-14.
  13. Something from daily times! http://www.thedailytimes.com/Sports_News/story/Putting-it-on-the-line-Alcoa-faces-big-task-in-CPA-front-five-id-043987
