Great point, but to mention ten better I would have to go into names, and certainly don't want to go into specific reasons for why that player should or should not. I was of course speaking of players in high school and not in college. Across the state, great caliber, and unfortunately, not in the east this time.

Well stated. As far as all americans go, yes we do well in the acdemic all america, however i was speaking of the vote by coaches. That is typical were we receive 1, and this time two. The second one went to the Bearden girl, who clearly is not the number 2 player in the state.

ok, I bet if you take a quick poll, the number of HS coaches that were aware of this process can be counted on one hand. I have seen too often were this stuff is kept amongst a select goup, nothing has changed in the last ten years. Secondly, take a look of the players that made the list. One of them is a quality soccer player. The state received 2 all americans for the first time in 20 years. Who received the second one, case in point. Thirdly, I believe we know of at least ten players that rank higher than the list with the one exception. I am sorry, but nothing ever changes in this state. I guess I now I have put my foot in the mouth, but I never did mentioned names, so maybe it is only the toes.

I agree, well stated. I can think of several players right off the bat that did not make. The all american is funny too. This state has never received 2 AA, but this year we did. Wonder who #2 on the list was that the string was pulled for in AAA?

No matter how you lice or dice it. AAA is for the large public schools, A/AA small public schools, and II is for the privates. That is what the majority wanted way back when, and that is the way it should be. We should not allow any school to have the best of both worlds.

Well I know for some region 2 schools who did not play a decent schedule, they paid a dear price. Normally in the limelight, out in the semis
