Oneida by a lot. Wartburg has lost a lot of its pieces the last couple years and seems to struggle to replace them. Lost one of the best in that district in Kilby going into this year.

I have nothing but respect for Coach Webb and his staff. He usually has Coach Tapp's number, but this year has a different feel for Harriman. I like this team a lot.

Oldest rivalry in the state of Tennessee. I think this game has the makings to be one of the best games in this rivalry in a long time. Both teams have gotten the job done in the first two weeks. If Harriman comes out hot I like their odds. I'll take them 21-7.

I've gotta say, once Harriman got going they were hard to do anything with. They came out a little flat, but got it going and eventually put it away. Can't wait for next week. Should be a good one.

He has a brother on the team now, and another one in middle school. The one in high school was getting some carries with the first team during the jamboree. There is rumor he may turn out to even be a little better than Shandon. It seems that every time a Lyle comes up they continue to improve.

It is a slogan used out there at Midway, because it seems as if there is a bridge over the river that seperates them from normal people. It means South of the River.

I hope you do a much better job than what is done in our parts. The folks here show lots of bias, and Harriman isn't part of it.

After last years game, and the way they have grown up this offseason I see the boys being more prepared for what they couldn't handle last year. I don't think it will be a blowout. Just Harriman's depth going further than Sunbright. Harriman's first team has looked really good. And the second line and fullbacks isn't far off. Just need more depth at the skill positions.

Yeah he's a sophomore this year. His brother was gonna come back and play at Kingston but decided to stay at Baylor. Would have been a huge pickup.

I never even saw a smaller guy at quarterback. I saw two guys at quarterback that were about 6'0-6'2.

OS isn't good OnB. As long as York is still running that same old veer OS won't touch them. OS takes bad angles, overpursues and misses a lot of tackles. They aren't very good up front and it kills them. Not much talent in the skill areas either. Their quarterback has a good arm and puts the ball in the right places when he has time, but having time is key for him. And even when he puts the balls in the right spots, the receivers just don't make the plays. This game shouldn't be close at all.

Yes. Oneida won by a couple of touchdowns. But one of them was during the JV session. They looked really good. Both teams moved the ball fairly well. Harriman just had a few turnovers. Oneida had a few issues with timing on some passing routes for a turnover on down once or twice.

Like I said, having watched both of them in the preseason, Rockwood didn't really pass the eye test, and Oneida blew it outta the water. Oneida looked really good against a Harriman team that won't be a walkover to many this year. I guess come game time Coach Webb put it together, and Rockwood caught the breaks.

I feel like an idiot for the prediction I made. Predicted Oneida by quite a bit based on a quarter, but I also said Rockwood will be more prepared for it because of coach Webb. He's a great coach, and should have expected more. I didn't see too much talent in Rockwood in the jamboree, but I was wrong. I like them this week.

That quarterback was very good. With your all's coaching staff the kinks will get worked out very quickly.

All of their talent continues to transfer on them. They're really not far off. With the right system and a little less brutal of a schedule, they might would compete a little better. Their schedule is tough, and that coach left them in a mess, and very unhappy.

I like Grace in this one by 3 scores. What happened with Austin East? Have they improved or just a sloppy first game?

I see Harriman's line and power running out matching Sunbright. If they shut down Mr. Bunch at running back it could be another ugly one because harriman has an improved secondary, and a core of good linebackers. I like Harriman 35-14

Yeah I haven't seen much of them. I usually just read, and not post a lot, but I'm kinda getting in the swing of things.

I was just saying that Coalfield has a younger team, and a Freshman that is really good. He could be District MVP in baseball and basketball. He carried a lot of the weight Friday. Other than that I've not really heard much either except for the injury bug is back. Sorry for the confusion.
