To clarifiy I wasnt whining about the loss. I was stating that in a victory all but one Cascade poster wasn't even gracious enough to admit they just played a hard fought game. They marginalized the game and team they just played and made up turn overs as to why is wasnt a blow out. To cornerback10 or what ever you are I never once complained about the loss in fact this season in JC was a pleasent suprise to all here. I see getting disrespected has upset the Cascde folks, oh well you get what you give. I made a reference to the corners not being able to cover a blind man. If this hurt any kid on the team i do apologize the reference was wrong to begin with and i had no idea the kid had a disability. If any of the Cascade folks would bother to look at the box scores the game outside of the score was fairly even.

Not a sore loser, they won fair and square. What is funny is the excuses as to why it wasnt a blow out. Honest answer is they aren't that much better than JC. For that matter not much if any better than a H2O or Celina. To read some of the Cascade post you would think they should already be in Cookeville. I am merely pointing out next week will be a lesson in how far they really have to go. If last night was an off night they must have been REALLY OFF to think they can go into TC and have a chance. Some were comparing rosters and saying its even. If they played in TC's region they may not have made the playoffs at all. After TC, FCS and Gville this Cascade team would have fit in nicely with JC, H20, Celina and Monterey. Not a huge difference in those teams and Cascade.

LOL yeah they covered the deep balls so well huh? Wasn't until they changed coverage to get help over the top could they do anything. TC will just line up and run it down your throat, won't matter if they throw. If they decide they want to for fun they will be able to. Book it!

After seeing Cascade play and TC play unless Cascade has some reserves for D they didnt play TC will name there score in this one. Cascade O loked pretty good on the ground not sure they will see the same production on the ground against TC. JC has had issues all season with run D so it was not a good measuring stick for Cascade to take into this game.

Mercy rule in the 3rd on this one. Where is the 5 turn over number coming from? Had 5 fumbles lost 3 last night watch your game film good grief. TC will name their score in this one hope Harper has a couple of back ups ready he will get tired by half time. Not sure where all the sour grapes are coming from for Cascade you must realize your D isnt very good at all. If TC decides to throw just isolate on those corners they couldnt cover a blind man.

you had 5 fumbles but lost 3, JC had 2. One of your turnovers was with a minute left in the first half so try not to pat yourself on the back too hard. Ask your coach how easy that game was to win im sure he will say your an idiot. With 7 minutes left this blow out you predict was a 7 point game, if not for a kick off return things might have been different, doubful JC couldnt stop a run all year. The score at the end of the game you want to gloat over would have been a trash score unlike you your coach knew this. Aside from this moron everyone at Cascade was super nice and we enjoyed our visit there. Good luck against TC, you guys will need it TC is a machine. Oh #8 is a junior.

Does it really matter when you play them? If you win progress on and take the title if you can, lose you go home like everyone else. Would it make you feel better to play them in the big show and lose or 3rd and lose? I don't see the relivance of the complaint considering you have to win them all for the title anyways. If you beat TC and go on to win it all the fact that you did indeed play and beat the #1 team at the time still remains. To the Bama guy you seriously know nothing about TC and what they have built there, its more than a good team from time to time its an entire system. If someone moves in there to be a part of a program like that who can blame them, to allege they recruit though is un-called for.

My mistake didnt realize you guys were the champions! I cant speak to the competition Cascade plays I can to the region we are in. 3 of the top programs in the state for 1 & 2 A without question and the rest or improving and young. Granted Pickett is struggling but the toughest bunch of kids anywhere. The only thing left to do is play the game if you beat JC that will be about as far as your party goes the next week will be painful for you. Either way good luck to both and I hope both teams are injury free.

Unless they put him at QB and run bootlegs all night their first priority should be O-line play. Hard to get the ball to anyone off your back or get any room to run without holes for the backs. Putting him under center may be an option.

Very true H2O was in the JC backfield as much as JC was. Defense wise the opposite was true not a lot of penetration from JC all not, congrats for a win on senior those kids earned.

Unless they can get some protection going for the QB Cascade may very well run away with this one. As was said in a different thread H2O had a jail break going on in the back field all night and JC's run game just wasnt there at all. Not sure about showing something to others there Devilfan seems H20 had the perfect plan play cover 4 and blitz and stunt because the O-line was having fits all night with them. Didnt see a lot of adjustments to the play calling in the second half to try to slow it down or take advantage of them playing off. All you can do is hope for the best I suppose.

Watertown controlled the line from start to finish, and again a horrible night for us defending the run. The kids gave it a great effort H2O just wanted it more. New season now they need to move on.

Did most their damage on two big pass plays and running up the gut in the third quarter. They may have scored on an outside run but did the ball moving up the middle. JC strung the outside runs out most the night, if you recall the first two runs from scrimmage for Clay were huge and guess where they went??? Did we even watch the same game?

Agreed other recievers have to step up anyways. Hard to win being a one trick pony. If H20 stays in a spread this could be an interesting game as it was stated earlier the JC secondary has some holes in it and gives up big plays. If they go to a power game and pound the middle and stick with it they win. I still do not understand why Clay stopped after shoving it down their throats in the thrid for a score. They went to trying to hit the corners, which plays more into JC's strengths.

Tigers take this with ease but you have to respect the kids at Pickett, hats off to them.

Watertown comes out fired up this will be a good game. They should be able to have some success up the gut every other team has. Control the clock and keep the O on the sideline no need for them to get fancy.

Wasn't it 82'? Congrats to the kids and coaches. Lots of work to be dont though, this years senior class once it leaves will be huge lose. Very talented group, will be very young in a lot of places next year. I agree coaches need lots of clinics.

I agree it is easy, lets not leave out the fact that the D line they have been running 8 games into the season with a tiny DT is not working agaisnt up the gut runs. How many games do they need to adjust honestly? Did you notice with 5 mins left in game they then put the big DT's in?? Why, obvious passing downs these are the times you need quick line men to shoot gaps. The kid does all he can he is just over matched game in and game out he is smaller than the line backers behind him and gets drilled every week. If they are going to continue to run a 3 man front they have to maintain their gaps they can not be driven off the ball 6 to 7 yds or shoot at the line mans feet. As I said earlier they won that game because they just had better players they were not coached to a win at all. If they don't plan better and take advantage of what the D is going ot allow then H2O will beat them. The middle slants were open most the night the only time they took advantage of it was the in the 3rd quater for on a couple of drives. It is a shame about 28 and 1 they will be missed, 28 was by far the best RB they had, in his senior year to boot.

CC may be ready and might even keep it close for a quarter or two but thats about it. I wouldnt mind seeing CC take them to the wire that would be awesome just dont think they will match up well here.

To those that think the JC coaching is great explain declining a holding call on the 10 that would have set up a 1 and 23 not a 2nd and 13? They stopped them but do you honestly think a good coaching staff would decline that? What about keeping tiny DT's in the D line when they get hammered for close to 6yds a carry? I know was told because he is quick but being quick does no good if he is driven 7yds off the ball does it? They allowed RBS to run up the gut just like every other team this year the coaches make no adjustments. Why in the h3ll run a spread attack if you QB cant audible after his read??? Why would you not take what the D gives you on the short passes instead of running your patterns the same depth?? Why in the name of all thats holy would you call a middle screen on the 2yd line?? This team just watching the atheletes on the field was much better than RBS but the coaches have to help them win, they won on difference of talent not coaching. Any time that has had better talent they can not plan for hence they get their butts handed to them by those teams. I will bet you this if Shoulders was the coach the FCS game would not have had a FB score 4 tds and have 200yds rushing, care to wager?
