Yea a few teams could win state playin down as u did last yr Signal. U shouldn have been in 2A last yr. U fans will realize how much better the competition is from 2A to 4A. That SP team u beat by four pts Polk mercy ruled last yr and they lost in the second rd to a great CAK team by two pts. In the last two seasons only Alco has beat them. I'm jus sayin the teams are much stronger. It won't be a cake walk. That Greeneville D is prob one of the best in the state even the Maryville fans who watched em scrimmage their team will tell you they are really good.

I heard this. I'm wondering why the juniors are playin? With their jamboree being sat.

Ya Derrick does an exceptional job with the talent he has had at Polk. By a lot of experts eyes he has overachieved. He has lacked speed his whole tenure. But has beat teams many feel he shouldn have by playing the style of grinding out the clock football and bend but don't break defense. I have no doubt if he had Cleveland or Bradley talent he would have a state title by now. He loves what he does and his family is Polk County Sports and that's why he won't leave for a bigger job..............

The word in Greeneville is Taylor Shuffler a kid who plays RB and DB was timed at a 4.4 40yd dash at Wofford and a few other college camps. He also ran consistent 3.8 to 3.9 NFL Shuttles. The Wofford coach said he ran the fastest shuttle ever recorded by anyone at Wofford. Would love to see who is the faster of the two.... But u can't believe everything you hear.

I think the 97 Tyner team was quiet great as well....

Ok and I'm in no way talkin up MY alma mater........ I have watched Alcoa a few times they are THAT GOOD. I know Polk has good young talent and SM seems to return a lot. Lookin forward to u guys rolling into town. Make sure the boys strap up them helmets really tight cause regardless it will be a slobbernocker....................................

As am I.. We lost a lot this season but many will be suprised at the people who will step up.. SP is always a very good atmosphere and can't wait til this yr.. Also seeing u seen both play wats ur take on SM PC?

(That would be a discussion to) How so? How many wins to they have in a row ? And how many of those include state title winners and runner ups during the stretch? Until they go down they are currently the best in state........ PERIOD

Why not contact a few teams early instead of waiting til ur district games are set. Give them an idea u wanna play. I'm sure BC, Clev, McCallie, Baylor, Loudon, CAK jus to name a few other than Alcoa who would play em...

I really don't think anyone understands just how good Alcoa is till u see them in action. They are truly a different league. But to be considered elite why not play the elite. Doesn't Signal have open enrollment just like Alcoa?

I took it as the best program at the current time... So until Maryville turns the tide Alcoa has the slight edge seeing they have won the last two meetings..

THIS DEFENSE SHOULD BE FINE.. THEY FACE THE BEST AND MOST EFFICIENT PASSING TEAM IN THE AREA EVERYDAY IN PRACTICE. IF AC CANT CONTROL THE GAME CLOCK AND RUN THE FOOTBALL IT COULD BE A LONG NIGHT.
