McEwen no doubt has to be one of the best receivers in the state. He holds 7 of the 8 receiving records at White House as a junior and the only one he has left to break is the career receiving yardage and I think he has about 100 yards left to break that one. I think he has around 4.6 speed, which is not bad. I think he has already started to receive some interest from college coaches. This is video of just his sophomore highlights, it will be interesting to see his junior highlights at the end of the season.

Try playing White House's schedule and then talk. Scrimmages with Hville and Gallatin. Games with Beech, Goodpasture, and Springfield. And yall might have had a better record, but who do yall play? Forest, Watertown, McEwen, i mean come on now. White House would have a field day and be 10-0 with your schedule. White House would beat Jo Byrns any day of the week. And it wouldnt even be a game if White House and Heritage played each other. White House would have the game over by half. And have fun this week at home while White House is still in the playoffs...

I think White house has the right to talk all the trash they want after beatin yall for like 25 straight years Learn how to win a game and actually act like yall have won before instead of actin like every win is the state championship. but i guess its kinda hard to be humble after a win since yall dont experience winning too much.

I dont think you need to be worried about White House's game. By the way you talk, you are most likely on Greenbrier's team, so you should probably be worried about your game with Lexington. Cause that one could get ugly for yall fast.

Well thanks Macon Co, Good luck to yall as well. Im thinking yall might pull the ole upset on Lipscomb. But before White House can even think about Liberty, they have to get past Mont. Central first. Im liking White House's chances against them. I say White House wins this game 33-10. Now just a little bit about Liberty. They look like a team that either come out and get the business done quick, or come out lazy, commit many turnovers, and just not play well. If we get to play them, we just gotta hope we get the team that comes out the second way. And one thing that is for sure, White House will hit them. Thats what you get when you play White House

Would you be able to give us an overall description of Mont. Central? Like key players, type of offense, defense, and things like that? As a fan and not knowing much about them, im just curios.

Well its senior night for the Devils friday night, so i just wanted to share this. I saw this on another thread and thought it was appropriate. Dear FOOTBALL MOM/DAD, You dreaded this year’s arrival, but it has come just the same. A year that is full of promise, but so many “last timesâ€. Over the year’s you have helped with countless team meals, washed mounds of sweaty uniforms, chauffeured to more early practices than you care to remember. You have been top of the world, elated when your son has had a good night and endured his deathlike silences when he hasn’t. It is amazing how the family mood bobs with the rhythm of each game. You have laughed, cried, screamed, sulked, pouted, sweated, pulled your hair, bit your nails, bit your tongue, paced, worried, frowned, and smiled all very gracefully and within a two hour span. Such is the life of a football mom/dad. You may not be in on the big play, but you feel the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat right along with your son. You keep your composure when some fan behind you wants your son’s head while the opponent on the field is mashing it into the grass. “Get off him, that’s my baby†you’d like to shout. You breathe football at this time of year, especially this time of year when your heart whispers “just a little longer†as the season slides by. You plead and bargain, knowing full well that some other mom/dad on the opponent’s team is making her/his own deal with the Almighty. But you do it anyway, because you no more want it to end than your son does. You do not want to see the desperation in his eyes and the pain on his face as he struggles to put away childhood dreams. You are helpless in the stands, with no way to make it better. IS IT WORTH IT? YOU BET IT IS! Every lost game sock, every busy Friday night, every recovering Saturday, every aspirin, every ruined hair do, hot bath, goose bumps, and every obnoxious fan and sports writer you’ve had to tolerate is worth it. The fun isn’t measured by how many times your son gets into the newspaper, the game, or what he does when he gets there. The fun-what makes those trips to the ER for the pigskin stitches all worthwhile, is watching a game. What a sport experience can do to convert your little boy into a young man. Watching him tackle the world and you have a front seat. You still see that rambunctious 5 year old playing ball in the yard. You bite your lip and hold back the tears because though you are fiercely proud of the young man he has become, you miss the boy. In fact you mourn for all the little boys. You have watched them grow up together, plot and scheme together, win and lose together. They have raided your kitchen, camped out in your basement, stole your heart. They are blessed with something they will never have again. They know it and you know it. So you pray that wonder will last another game, and then another, because as long as it does, you hang on to a piece of your boy for a bit longer. Watching him walk off that field one last time will be no less painful than giving birth to him all those years ago. We will miss this group of young men. We will miss watching them run on to the field like soldiers going to battle, the hi-fives after a great play, the chest slams after a great tackle, the celebrations over a big win and the sober faces after a disappointing loss. We will miss watching the boys we love, play the game they love. FOOTBALL.

How are you gonna go and tell someone to get some respect when you dont respect other teams? You get on White House's threads and show no respect by calling people idiots and things like that. And yeah, ill agree that any team can win at any time. Just like Greenbrier shouldnt of beat White House, but they did win that night. So your point proven, any team can win at any time. Just hope you your bobcats dont get unlucky and meet White House again...

Im glad to see all the tension has cleared between the Springfield and White House fans. Its obvious that Springfield is just better than White House, you have to be able to admit things. And us White House fans did say we were going to beat Springfield, but of course we said that. We're going to pick our team against any team, it doesnt matter who we play. Thats just our sense of pride. So with all that said, good luck Springfield, i would hate to be the team that sees yall in the playoffs. But back to the Sycamore White House game, White House should win this game, but they cant overlook them and just think they're going to win(even though i dont see how they could overlook them when they have to win this game) And back to the comment i made about Springfield being the best team we played, i do think they're better than Beech. Beech is good, but Springfield just has speed and athletes all over the field. Beech should match up way better with Springfield than we did though. It would be a heck of a game, imo.

White House SHOULD win this game, but that doesnt mean that they are. The devils should come out fired up knowing they have to win this game to see week 11. Sycamore is also going to come out fired up knowing they can keep White House from going to the playoffs, something that has only happened once in like the last 28 years. As an alumni of WHHS, it would hurt not seeing us in week 11. Hopefully the devils can rebound from the Springfield game(best team they have played all year,imo) Im going to take the Devils 30-10. Come on Devils, we need this win.

Alright, yall beat white house. But come on now, Westmoreland? that must feel good, getting beat by them. And the worst thing of it all is that it was their first win of the season. White House put 28 on them in the first quarter. And lets see if yall are even lucky enough to hang with Goodpasture next week, i can see that game gettin very ugly. GP 49 GB 7 with that touchdown being scored on Goodpastures Freshmen B team

Greenbrier is acting like beating White House is the greatest thing they have ever done. White House pretty much beats yall every year and its no big deal to them. Make yall should just be like Vandy and make a shirt for every time yall get a big win
