CB did what every team does at some point.. they came out of the gate with no intensity and got slaughtered in the first half. its happened with one other team. boyd. they overlooked both teams and it came back to bite em in the end. a mistake that many teams make. had Cb not overlooked this team and came out with a little more intensity they could have been on top by two touchdowns. the second half was more like the cb team i know and love. but it had absolutely nothing to do with the schedule. yes they played a weak schedule but they blew out teams all year just like a good team should. the better team lost this one. and my hats off to cb for the effort and heart they gave in the second half. 10-2 is nothing to be ashamed about. its been a long time since cb has had a 10 win season. on another note, the refs werent as bad as they normally are at coalfield. they are usually very biast. but they called a good game this go round. congrats to coalfield on the win and good luck with sp.. Go win state Jackets. CB is behind you.

CB's defense is very stingy on the ground.. they held Andrews RB who is claimed to be the 'best back in NC history' to 59 yards. most people say that CB's worst defensive game was against boyd but for the defense to be on their side of the 50 for 75% of that game because CB's offense had their worst game all year and anyone who has seen CB play more than once knows that, 20 points given up on D is not to shabby.. the other 2 points was from a safety because like i mentioned, the offense was very very much off their game.. in 11 games the cb defense has given up (including extra points and boyds game) 4.7 points a game.. the other points were from opposing def points and special teams.. the defense is very very stingy

your right. it is gonna be a tough one. this game will really prove if cb is for real and if the easy schedule will effect their play. i dont think it will. i think cb ends up on top by 6

Aren't good teams supposed to capitalize on mistakes? And Harriman came up empty three times because CB's D stopped them or caused fumbles. the only bad things that happened for CB was a blocked punt and a coulple of missed PATs.. it was def domination

i think this one boils down to how well the quarterbacks throw the ball in the short game and how the defense handles it.. i'm takin CB by a touchdown

After Copper Basins impressive win last night against Harriman, they head down to Sunbright for the 2nd round of the state playoffs. Sunbright is coming off of a 1st round bye. Who takes this one and heads to the quarterfinals?
