  1. And don’t put all of Hampton on me. This is me, Autumn Stover only. I don’t represent Hampton. I’m no spokeswoman for this town, school or football team. These are my opinions only. I speak for no one but myself. If you think I’m rude, a sore loser, or whatever else y’all have called me, please don’t see my fellow community members that way. I’m just one lady who wanted better for her kid than to get beat by a bunch of lucky, cocky brats and their daddies who want to live through their kids by telling them they’re all that. I’ve never even commented here until this game. I just wanted to get under y’all’s skin. I knew I could. And I have so badly. I hope it itches.
  2. He’s literally the safety so yeah, maybe? This is 2A, our kids play both sides. You should know that. Plus, he racks up a lot of rushing yards, too. Don’t pretend like York would be half of what they are without Leffew. Cause they wouldn’t be. And yeah sure, he’d have had a lot of influence on the confidence of the team so they block better, run faster, tackle harder or whatever it may need to be. So yeah, one guy does have that power. Those boys have played together for 13 years. They see someone they love hurting, and missing his potential last game ever. Their hearts were broken. York had nothing to do with that. I don’t know why y’all wanna be such poopy pants winners. And what exactly is Hampton supposed to do cause their region sucks? Volunteer to play in yours? Invite us then. Lol idk how you gather we’d have been third when we beat 2 other teams from the region. But okay, lie to yourself if you want. We’re all a little delusional sometimes I guess. FC nor Stone are that good. Those are two more games that York was handed.
  3. And boy, if I knew all I had to do was call men unimpressive I’d have been doing it a long time ago. Y’all sure do get tore up over a bunch of words. Hope you found your safe space.
  4. No, the hopes and dreams of a bunch of children who desperately needed their QB got beat up on by a bunch of sore winners. If y’all men knew how to read you’d know that I’ve never once said that York wasn’t good. I said they weren’t impressive. And I stand by that. They have nothing that Polk or Bledsoe didn’t have. They have nothing that Hampton doesn’t have. So where’s the respect for that?
  5. Doesn’t say much for you either. We beat all the same teams you did, ya dipstick. Lol What part of Hampton was playing with a kid that had never played QB don’t y’all get? It’s literally okay to admit that you only think you’re the best cause you’re bias. It’s your team so of course you think that. Never once have I said York wasn’t good. They’re as good as Hampton had played in 2A. Im just saying the healthy and confident Hampton would have given York an entirely different game. And that York isn’t all that. They’re a solid team, no doubt. You don’t get where they are without being talented. But I’m also saying that they haven’t really played anyone that great either. And yeah, they get real lucky. They’ve beat several teams on turnovers alone. And not turnovers that were forced. Purely lucky mishaps by the other team that went in favor of York. You all are all fired up cause I said you weren’t impressive. And I stand by that. But you’ve read too much into that.
  6. I really appreciate it! I hate to see any team have kids hurt. They are kids, after all. A lot of our boys move straight into basketball and then to baseball. Small town athletics can be tough. Hampton is really such a beautiful place. Thank you for appreciating it.
  7. He’s a hero! A defender. I hope York never knows what it’s like to play without a HUGE influence to their team. Put that in your #### record book, ya poor winner.
  8. We did our share of traveling 2 years ago when we went to the championship. We never complained. We showed up and we played ball. My nephew is graduating and my husband is set to PCS out of the area so we won’t be around but I’m sure you’ll get the same lively banter at Hampton if the two meet again. These Hamptonites may grow old, but we never tarnish. We’re a shiny as a new nickel and as sharp as a tack, always. I hope the next time y’all meet will be under much different circumstances, with both teams healthy. Even if they have to come to your place!
  9. Good you and Mr Leffew won’t have to whine to raise money for your fancy bus then.
  10. You can accept it. Doesn’t mean I have to. I don’t want my team to hold either. I don’t want any advantage they didn’t earn. I want a best of both teams, clean, fair called game. Which we did not get. Hampton was defeated before York ever arrived. York beat up on a team that deserves so much more. I’m not sure I could ever take pride in that. Congratulations to your boys as I’m sure that have worked hard, but you didn’t beat the real Hampton. You beat the shell of what was a dream team. You beat what remainder there was of a bunch of boys that had been handed every #### stick imaginable. There’s no pride in that. If I can’t beat you at your best, I’ve not beat you at all. Your team is lucky. They’ve rode on luck far enough.
  11. Do you know what holding is? Late hits? Literally spearing our RB into the ground. Yeah, if you don’t see that….you should stay home.
  12. I’m glad you have proof of how lucky York is so you can think about it dearly when y’all lose next week. Praying your luck runs out because your entitled brats don’t deserve it.
  13. Not Pisgah. They were better than us. They are better than York. They are better than most teams I’ve seen. They deserved to win. Hampton lost to Pigeon Forge only because we had two kids leave in an ambulance and multiple others hurt during the first game of the season. Another confidence killer. But I would never say that about Pigeon Forge because they beat us with GRACE AND RESPECT. York should try that sometime. Get over the fact that your team is just not that good. It’s okay. Lol
  14. My names Autumn Stover. Say it to my face since you’re so big and bad there buddy. If I’m trash then I’m darn sure proud of it. I’m sorry for what that makes you then.
  15. Not hard. I’m just sayin Hampton rarely misses a 2 pt conversion. I’m confident in that they don’t miss any Friday. If you knew what you were talking about, Hampton that is, you’d know that.
  16. Impressive to me that y’all think you know so much about Hampton, enough to say that Hampton will get beat by 20 and/or 14, but would say Hampton would score 14. Y’all know nothing because the only way Hampton is scoring 14 is with 2 touchdowns, missing BOTH 2 pt conversions and then getting a safety. Hampton doesn’t have an extremely reliable kicker. Hardworking kid anyway, but he’s just not there yet. And I doubt Michael lets him kick in the toughest game of the season. The trust isn’t there yet. Y’all talk outta your behinds! Hampton 24 York 22
  17. Both FC and Stone wins were just decent for York as neither are that impressive of a team. I've explained why in previous posts. We don't have to agree about it, but its my opinion. Same thing happended to Hampton the year they went to the state championship. They didn't complain. They travelled, they played football, and they WON. That was until they met the TRULY impressive and could beat anybody team (what York is desperate to convince themselves they are) in Westview. That team was everything and more. Westview had it all. The QB, the recievers, the secondary, the coaches, the lineman. That was a team that deserved something special. York better just worry about beating Hampton and less about where it's at. Even if they beat Hampton and play at home, those semi games will be beyond TOUGH.
  18. Pujo, you’re spot on again. I think Hampton will be the first really tough competition York has seen. And I think whoever the winner of this game is (it’ll be Hampton though) will see the real competition begin in the semis. Those teams out west are unreal.
  19. The thing is, Hampton can not help that their region is trash. We’ve heard all season about region 2 this and region 2 that, well, we’ve beat every one of them that’s come our way. You can’t only look at who Hampton has beat and who York has beat. Scores only tell so much. Hampton is a much better team than they’re given credit for and York is just not as impressive. They’ve lucked their way into an undefeated season. FC plays in d2 and made it to the playoffs because there’s barely any teams to make it. And I watched the Stone Memorial game, York was just as unimpressive in that game as any other. Sure there are things they do well, as does any team. But you’re all hyped up for nothing. York truly hasn’t beat anyone that’s really THAT good.
  20. We’re not delusional about Hampton strengths or weaknesses. You have to be real. This guy wants us to believe that York is going to go beat a nobody this week cause they could beat ANYBODY. And with all honesty and respect, that is so far from the truth.
  21. York scores ALOT of their points on the other teams mistakes. Hopefully Hampton won’t have those. They played without any last week and I don’t see why they couldn’t repeat that this week. I know it’s cause I’m biased, but York is not that impressive. In my humble opinion, they NEED teams to make those mistakes to score. If Hampton stays clean, York will struggle. Yorks offensive power is Hampton’s defensive power. And that secondary of Yorks gets eaten alive at times. So I think you need to come back to reality on that one. Lol Not to mention, York turns the ball over a lot themselves. Both games I watched yesterday they turned the ball over twice before halftime. Can’t have those at Hampton because, unlike the other unimpressive teams you’ve beaten (that Hampton has beaten too now, don’t forget) Hampton will take those to the house. The Dogs are playing their best football right now and won’t settle. And as for the people who say I’m supposed to be impressed by York beating FC by 1. Why?
  22. Hampton football basically invented “hard hitting mountain men” you just wait til you get there and see those boys. Yours might hit hard, but so do ours! And these dogs don’t take lightly to being under estimated. They’ll smash your mouth and ask what you’re gonna do about. Hampton thrives on that kind of football, they always have. If you’ll get your head back down to earth you might find you’re in for more of a challenge than you’ve realized. And just maybe more than the “#1 team in 2A” has prepared for. Don’t count Hampton out til the 4 quarters have been played. These boys got heart and don’t lay down for NOBODY.
  23. Landers couldn’t even lose this week. They lost that opportunity last week. Big brother Hampton on top again and I hope Peckerwood loses sleep over it. See ya in your dreams, sad sack. @Appvol
